The album is starting already quite similiar to Teenage Dream so I fear that Roman Reloaded will do quite OK saleswise but the main focus will be on the singles ...

Starships and Turn Me On might be Dance in a way but they're considered pop by most, I'd say.

As to your second comment... you'll have to live with it!

She's not flopping. She certainly is underperforming and the reasons are QUITE clear.

And, again, her WW success has yet to really offset her (more) sluggish US sales.

While I'm interested in seeing the video, I am honestly wondering what good it could do at this point. It wouldn't revive airplay, would perhaps only contribute to a bit more sales and I can't see it doing anything at all for the album. It'd be best to just let it slide and focus on making the next song a proper hit.

I might be wrong, though, but still... why so late?

Personally, I'm concerned more with the long-term prospects than JUST the fact that she'll probably go platinum soon.

Pop is fickle and urban audiences are certainly more loyal... my fear is her losing a loyal fanbase for one that turns you on and off based on the current trend!

What a terrible video... I'll be surprised if it does anything at all for the song.

I hope the rest of the era plays out better! There's still loads of potential and if they play their cards right this could easily match PF in the US and far surpass that worldwide...
