i hope the other producer had some input because remember cruise control had a featured artist but the JD sound was just regulaaar.

It's unclear who's album this is for, could be for his or Mariah's! We'll just have to wait to wait and see.

I think JD did a good job on "Cruise Control". It's one of his better productions on E=MC2!

I don't have any problem with her working with rappers once the songs are good and the rappers are known, current and popular.

Anyway I'm pretty certain this is for his album because of tweets from people last weekend saying that Mariah and Lionel Richie were going to be on Rick's new album.

The only think that makes me wonder if it is for Mariah's album is the fact that JD was there but may be he's doing stuff for Rick!

Because Mariah needs hype to generate interest in her own record. She didn't deliver with "Memoirs" and people are nervous as to what she will come out with next. Working with someone current get's people interested and it opens her up to that rappers audience too. When she did "I Know What You Want" people started to look for Mariah again. I know she's not in that type of situation but she will need radio support when her own single drops and there's no harm in working with current people to generate that interest.

I don't know for sure who's album this song will appear on. The rapper who was tweeting at the weekend heard it was for Rick's album but I wouldn't mind Rick on her lead sing either or an album track on her album!

She's off to Paris Friday and rehearsing for Austria so the trip to Miami was a rushed visit last night because they obviously needed to get something done before she went away. Rick Ross said his new single is coming soon so may be Mariah will be appearing on that!

That makes all the sense! And a feature in Rick Ross's new track would be fantastic, because, as you said, he's pretty relevant nowadays and it can be "I Know What You Want" pt deux

Mariah could have been in that Rick Ross song that features Chrisette Michelle and Drake. I think it's called "B.M.F". Or what if Mariah did he hook in a Khaled song (the ones where there's like 4 rappers) that features Rozay? So much questions.

Yeah you're right I guess she could do worse then Rick Ross (and she has lol) I just want her to work with a Common, Lupe, Jay Z, Nas type rapper on a big summer anthem before she drops her own stuff. Something commercial but still credible.

Ha yeah true! I'll probs end up liking the track tbh I just want to know about other producers she's working with thats what I'm mostly waiting for.
