I Like Climax

but this sounds not really exciting tbh.

Okay, who hasn't released "generic" music in the past 10 years? I know of nearly no one!

And he has to do something to appease those polarized pop fans that won't buy his album for "Let Me See" and "Climax." It is what it is.

I don't miss the days when Usher was good because he is STILL good. One song, done for commercial purposes only, does not take away from his legend in music and the current GREAT music he still releases.

At the end of the day it is all subjective. I don't feel this song at all, but I don't think I would have anyways as I usually hate his pop music with the exception of "OMG" (only because the production w/ the dance is pulsating) and "Without You" (because his voice SLAYS!)

This is obviously being released so he doesn't scare away his dance-pop crowd and clubbing crowd that he acquired with OMG, DJ Got Us, More and Without You. I'm not a big fan of the snippet but it's not even the full song.

I don't want artists like Usher to be stuck within one genre. I liked the evolution he went through with Climax and I do agree that Scream does sound a little samey, but he has a new crowd to please along with his urban crowd, just people don't want to accept it lol.

Also I see another Hot Tottie snub incoming. Scream might blow up like DJ Got Us and Let Me See might be pushed to the side like Hot Tottie was..

That sick song never even got a video...

... I hope that's not the case though...

I don't think it'll do that well on the charts though. Starships is having trouble cracking the top 5 and staying there because of alternative music and pop-rock band making a comeback.

However after listening to the snippet with my Beats, it sounds real promising! I hope there is a surprise featured artist!

I'm liking the snippet more and more, can't wait! His Dance/Pop and Electro House songs need some work though... They are catchy but don't have lasting appeal, aside OMG... So I hope he can pull a hard one here!

I was hoping for a BIG alternative-sounding track, not this yet.

I knew a dance song was in the album somewhere, just not coming up on us this fast lol! I think he'll do well simply because he's Usher.

And we're judging SOLELY on a clip!

Yeah it's just a clip, and honestly I'm liking it more than More and DJ already lol. It's more upbeat but it makes sense to me lol.

Also I was really hoping that he'd drop Looking for Myself's title cut which was produced by Empire of the Sun apparently. THAT might be the alternative sounding track you're looking for!
