It's probably a little too early to call it but "21" could end up topping the YE chart again in the UK in 2012 (it will definitely do so in the US and worldwide).

Lana so close to Emeli - by next week I hope she will be ahead 8-)

At the moment, I still doubt that 21 will end as the No.-1-album in the UK:
1. because the total is already so high
2. because the distance to the other albums is not that big
3. because 21 is not selling huge numbers anymore
3. because there haven't been high-profile-album-releases yet.

For example, 19 seemed to end as the 2nd biggest album last year but then Michael Buble's Christmas came. In the end, every album debuting with 100k+ is a threat.

I'm sure that 21 will end in the top 5 though No.-1 will be hard...

I won't have problems being proved the opposite though 8-)

zxcvbnm88 updates the UK chart in Whitney's chart history every week. For the last few weeks, Whitney's "Ultimate Hits" was not on the UK album chart for several weeks. However, the sales of this album in this UK YTD Album/Singles thread were increasing in the past few weeks. That is why I am confused.
