Do you know Taiwan? If not, check the map, it's in Southeastern Asia and beside mainland China, BUT YOU MUST KNOW, it doesn't belong to China!

I think Katy has great chances to win these catagories.
:D
But for her standards Last Friday Night, The One That Got Away and Part Of Me all underperformed, no?
Yes, for her, these underperformed, but these still sold bulks of copies like LFN (3.5M) / TOTGA (2.5M) / POM (1.5M).

If I'm not wrong, BBMA is all based on year-end chart performance according to Nielsen Soundscan!

Here's 2011 year-end chart
Digital Artists
#1 - Katy Perry - 15,187,000

Radio Artists
#1 - Katy Perry - 1,457,000

Above all, that's why I think she'll win those catagories.
8-)
Year-ends are from November to November, I think the new BBMA is from May to May or something like that.
I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure.

just out of curiosity, if there could be only one more single after this, which one would you go for? (including "old" and new songs from Teenage Dream)

You see I would be stuck between:
Hummingbird heartbeat: The love pop song
Wide Awake: The inspirational one
Dressin' Up: The catchy dirty one

I like Peacock as a single... none of the re-released tracks have the ""hit" factor of the original TD release.

Then she should close the era, chill and come back HARD in another year!
"Take A Bow"... Rihanna's ONLY ballad to go #1 on the Hot 100 (also topped the R&B Chart)... Great deed for her most epic ballad!!!

I think she should still release Pearl because there hasn't been a ballad this era and every good era needs at least one ballad 8-) .

I can agreewith danbarj: Following another single, the era should end and take a break before starting even bigger than how the Teenage Dream-era started.
And when the 3rd album is released, I also want the album to turn into a huge success (4x P)...

Wide Awake is kinda like a ballad, so it can be the perfect final single off Teenage Dream!

"The One That Got Away" is technically a "mid-tempo" ballad. Ballad doesn't mean, inherently, vvveeeeeerrrrrrrryyy slow! LOL!

She has released a ballad. I'd go with Pearl too!

And, considering the current market and consumer habits of pop fans, I think another 2x P album would be more than awesome!

I don`t think Thinking of You is an appropriate example. Back then Katy was not as huge as she is now. It will be interesting to see what the success of a ballad by Katy will be now. :D
