Do you know Taiwan? If not, check the map, it's in Southeastern Asia and beside mainland China, BUT YOU MUST KNOW, it doesn't belong to China!

I can agreewith danbarj: Following another single, the era should end and take a break before starting even bigger than how the Teenage Dream-era started.
And when the 3rd album is released, I also want the album to turn into a huge success (4x P)...
"The One That Got Away" is technically a "mid-tempo" ballad. Ballad doesn't mean, inherently, vvveeeeeerrrrrrrryyy slow! LOL!

She has released a ballad. I'd go with Pearl too!

And, considering the current market and consumer habits of pop fans, I think another 2x P album would be more than awesome!
OK, next time I write an "inherently, vvveeeeeerrrrrrrryyy slow" song  . I'm sure that also has a professional definition. For me, a song like the singles of Teenage Dream are "normal" up-tempo, something like Somebody That I Used To Know, Beyonce's Best Thing I Never Had or Jessie J's Who You Are are mid-tempo and Pearl, Not Like The Movies, Adele's Someone Like You or Lana Del Rey's Video Game are ballads...

I'm not sticking to the certification, as you know me, just an album which stays in the top 10/20 for ages and every type of promotion/single success really helps in a huge way. And a long time in the top 5 (Teenage Dream spent 3 weeks there).

This doesn't mean a 21-type-of-blockbuster but if an era is really perfect, I'm hoping for a chart run similiar to the one of Nickelback's All The Right Reasons:
1 / 2 / 4 / 2 / 3 / 5 / 9 / 11 / 9 / 7 / 6 / 9 / 7 / 10 / 7 / 6 / 13 / 16 / 19 / 16 / 17 / 18 / 18 / 18 / 20 / 17 / 19 / 17 / 14 / 20 / 25 / 26 / 20 / 20 / 18 / 24 / 21 / 24 / 27 / 23 / 21 / 15 / 12 / 10 / 10 / 10 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 10 / 13 / 12 / 14 / 13 / 14 / 9 / 15 / 20 / 21 / 18 / 22 / 21 / 21 / 17 / 20 / 18 / 10 / 8 / 12 / 14 / 15 / 15 / 15 / 12 / 16 / 17 / 17 / 22 / 24 / 20 / 21 / 18 / 23 / 17 / 22 / 22 / 22 / 28 / 29 / 28 / 25 / 24 / 12 / 9 / 11 / 14 / 15 / 13 / 9 / 10 / 8 / 7 / 15 / 20 / 22 / 24 / 18 / 21 / 21 / 30 / 39 / 43 / 38 / 38 / 33 / 30 / 32 / 35 / 30 / 29 / 32 / 33 / 39 / 44 / 48 / 52 / 50 / 51 / 59 / 54 / 65 / 65 / 71 / 61 / 72 / 70 / 75 / 71 / 71 / 76 / 75 / 84 / 90 / 78 / 83 / 88 / 91 / 81 / 95 / 84 / 83 / 83 / 91 / 89 / 95 / 101 / [...] / 192

It's still selling 2-4k each week 7 years after the release (same of cours stands for Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway and Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts) and I hope for her next album to be similiar successful...

---

Netherlands:

One Of The Boys is selling more than Teenage Dreams at the moment there :o . The latter one is out of the Albums Chart's top 100 (and neither on the Backcatalogue Chart, therefore clearly not on the Combichart), while One Of The Boys is No. 13 on the Backcatalogue Chart and No. 69 on the Combichart.

She's not really popular there, everything from there (and Spain) it's a plus tbh...

When all is said and done, TD will have sold 5 million copies worldwide. Where are the haters who called this album a flop? :)

Excuse me, but no one said this album would flop...

If you mean by the beginning of this Era, well... Who cares about them? Been a long time already, so there is no reason to write such things..

I still wish it's re-release would be more successful... Disappointed by it's underperformance.

It`s so funny when people consider a performance of Katy aweful only because she can`t sing live (although I disagree) when all the other factors are great - the look, choreography, set, etc. Plus there was a lil` remix of the song with marching... It was amazing... :D

It's my opinion, but if you think that choreography or marching is more important than singing...
