Yep. Their first lead singer killed himself and the other members paid tribute by cooking and eating his brain

And yet the religious people feel threatened by a pop star?

Former members: Dead (deceased)

how fitting

In a way, it's definitely a first for where I'm living (in a very rural and 'Korean-esque' part of Korea).  #CelebrityStatusAffirmed

The pics were hilarious!

On another note, great to see people turning to their faith for what they hold as moral values!
"Take A Bow"... Rihanna's ONLY ballad to go #1 on the Hot 100 (also topped the R&B Chart)... Great deed for her most epic ballad!!!

I wouldn't say Lady GaGa is the most outwardly sexual pop artist out there right now though. Rihanna and Katy Perry's music, for example, seems just as sexually explicit (if not more), and yet they don't get half as much flack.

Unless, of course, this is just about the fact that there's lots and lots of gay people around who are comfortable with their sexuality. Which there is. And always will be. With or without GaGa. So, get over it!

Katy Perry's music is not nearly as sexually explicit as Lady Gaga. Rihanna's music can be more sexually explicit than Lady Gaga's but it all boils down to image and agenda.

Rihanna and Katy both do not project the same image and vibe that Lady Gaga does.

And I don't think Rihanna nor Katy Perry have ever gone to South Korea (which is a well-known conservative/traditional country that also has a very painful history) anyway.

So honestly, what Katy and Riri do is neither here nor there. Because other than the fact that they like to change their hair color, they really have little in common with Lady Gaga.

That's the thing, Sambo. The problem is bigger than homosexuality. Why do I say that?

Because they're not protesting homosexuality. They're protesting her and everything that she is.

The problem is that a lot of people have a big problem with Lady Gaga. From her music to her image to her knack for pretentiously trying to shove things down people's throats to her philosophies to her performances.

And this isn't just in South Korea.

Rihanna is sexual and her image is very sexual at times too, and she does receive flack. But she also doesn't seem to push an "ideology" or "philosophy" regarding everything she cares for.

I think that's where Gaga's flack comes from, and it's everywhere from her imagery, performances, tweets, pics, etc.

And there's YET nothing wrong with people being conservative. Just as some want others to "live and let live", allow them to do the same.

I think they are... :P

"We will pray to God that the concert will not be realised so that homosexuality and pornography will not spread around the country."
And I'm just pointing out that, even if she'd never brought out the Born This Way "philosophy", there'd still be this supposed "spreading" of gayness everywhere. It's inevitable that homosexuality will become more and more acceptable. Lady GaGa and her silly little antics aren't to blame. (Not that I think there needs to be any placing of blame personally, because there's nothing wrong with people being gay!)

If you have to be over 18 to see her show, what is the big fuss anyways? Its like people who whine about R rated movies even though people under 17 are only allowed to see them with parental consent.

You'd love it -- I hear it all the time in supermarkets, restaurants, banks, post offices, etc.

As for the language, I have to admit that I haven't done very well with it. I find it so complex as a language, what with its structure and use of syllables (particularly when it comes to forming words; never mind sentences!). But I don't feel too guilty for not knowing it very well, as it's supposedly one of most difficult languages for an English speaker to learn. 8-)

How can a pussy fall off...? #Uncute

Of course, South Korea is a mess. Remember, they are share a lot of very close and very uncomfortable ties with North Korea...and we all know how crazy North Korea is.

And if you actual scroll through the comments there are quite a few negative comments about it. The top comment itself is addressing a negative comment that is about their image.

I think its just that GaGa is very boisterous about her passion for the gays, but her using crosses and putting Jesus on a motorcycle are pretty radical and would've been unthinkable 4 years ago...

Now it's time for protests in Indonesia.

As much as the Korean protests made me laugh these new ones scare me a bit.

Video of some Korean protests before the concert
