ARTISTS you wanted to Support so badly, but NEVER happened

Is there any artist, or band that you wanted to stan for but for some reason it just never happened?
You wanted to request the song, buy the album, etc, etc.... wther the lead single dissappointed you, or the videos, etc, etc... it just never happened and you never stanned for them !?

I don't know if this is what you mean but I was a fan of Gaga after Just Dance and became a MASSIVE fan during The Fame Monster era but ever since BTW (the song) didn't click with me I've become indifferent to her.

I'd LOVE to be a stan again but she needs to woo me somehow.

Cher Lloyd - I LOVED her on X factor, and even auditioned to be in her music video. I downloaded Swagger Jagger, With Ur Love and Want U Back (which is still a great song), but overall she's not really given me much to go wow about. I still like her but the "appeal" of being a stan has long gone.

Same thing happened to me with Madonna. Have always supported her until 2004. Then, she came with COADF, one of the worst LPs of the past decade and I've lost interest. Not only I loathed this album but i started to listen to her previous works less and less. Perhaps this is because my tastes have changed but that era was so inferior to American Life and Hung Up / Sorry were so overexposured here a few years ago that I moved onto other artists. Hard Candy was also bad and I didn't even bother to listen to her new album.

I was like a stan of Rihanna during the Good Girl Gone Bad era and liked her before but something happend after... I only like a few songs on her latest albums and find most of the songs to be filler or just not what I like to listen to.

Yep, many people seem to love this record and I'm well aware I'm in the minority. Haven't listened to MDNA but COADF is her worst album, easily IMO.

This is something I really can't understand: Not just that I like it a lot (more than other Madonna albums like Hard Candy or Music) but also that it's not just a fans' but also a critics' favourite!

People have different tastes, as simple as that. I won't like a record just because critics and fans enjoy it.

Me too!!! I was blasting The Fame before most people knew her.
BTW single disappointed and she went way off track and lost the plot for me! She tried too hard to be controversial! :cry:

Needless to say, I haven't bought BTW album and won't be buying it any lifetime soon. I will consider future albums depending on the sound and direction!
