Oh great to see you back here loving Kate B! You too Chun! Although I know you've been into The Red Shoes for a while now! ;)

I can never rank Kate's albums, but I know that Lionheart is sometimes my favourite album, sometimes not. I love every song on it. And it feels more dark and weirder than TKI (which is a phenomenal album too).

I'm still jamming to my Kate Bush mix above.

Aerial never stopped impressing me from 2005 to 2009, something. What an amazing album that is! :o

It really is something I know. Kate is amazing, she really is, let her take her time with each album because the quality is always there when she does! 8-)

I'm not sure if it's the DC version though. When I checked the chart they added the DC cover next to her name, but when I checked iTunes now, it's only the Sensual version which is charting.

Oh well! :)

Thanks for sharing NF!

I read the youtube comment saying that Fleetwood's Big Love has always sounded like an answer song to Running Up That Hill... what do you think?

Fleetwood Mac - Big Love (1987)

I think I get the point really. Both musically and lyrically.

On topic - I've only just now purchased a physical copy of Hounds of Love, don't ask why it has taken me so long.

Woooo! Depends what you're up for.

-> If you want slow and relaxing songs, try her latest two albums (Aerial or 50 Words For Snow).
My recommended songs: Wild Man, Snowed In At Wheeler Street, An Endless Sky Of Honey

-> If you want weird experimental stuff, try her first four albums (The Kick Inside, Lionheart, Never For Ever, The Dreaming).
My recommended songs: Wuthering Heights, Hammer Horror, Suspended in Gaffa

-> If you want pop songs, try her middle three albums (Hounds Of Love, The Sensual World, The Red Shoes).
My recommended songs: Deeper Understanding, And So Is Love, Eat the Music, Hounds of Love

I am in love with her... this woman's work is exceptional!!!

I can't believe she was nominated for the Grammys just 3 times and never won... well, the same thing has happened to Tori Amos or Björk... just shows how relative these awards are.
