You have no idea how excited I am for this. One of my all time favourite artists.

In the past week, I've been going Alanis crazy actually. Literally cannot stop listening to her.

omg can't wait for this! loved the (very) early reviews!

Woman Down: An alternative reggae number where Alanis finally revisits the relationship that inspired 'You Oughta Know' and puts an end to it
snippet lyrics: Oh mama mama mama I just shot a woman down, in Toronto

Havoc: inspired by Anne Hathaway gangster movie, you can hear Alanis going gangster but still staying alternative and Canadian.

Edge of Revolution: the closing track, an obvious anthem for all the alternative women, an emotional, top down, driving in the high way kind of song. in the chorus she shouts:
I'm on the edge of evolution and I'm raising my hands for you

Alanis is known for her deeply personal albums and the fact that each of her albums reflects her thoughts and feelings of the time it was released. And, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't "So Called Chaos" during her Ryan Reynolds romance? And "Flavors of Entanglement" documented their split, hence the darker sound? Because she's in a stable relationship and a mother, I'm expecting this to be an overall 'happy' album. I prefer her angsty stuff, but I doubt she could ever deliver anything bad!

Well she has recorded 31 songs for this project, so I expect she'll give us some more. She's quite good like that.

I hope so! Whether it's a few extra tracks on the end of an album or an extra disc, I'd pay whatever for more Alanis tracks!

Some will probably be b-sides too. I'd love as many bonus tracks as we got with Flavors Of Entanglement if there's a deluxe release or another album like Feast On Scraps.
