Glad that Don't Trust The Bitch... stands a good chance of renewal. Here's hoping for GCB too!

I think CW should do what they did with "Reaper" a few years ago and give Ringer a 13 episode run just to finish the story. Fans never got the final showdown between the two sisters that we waited for, plus seeing if Andrew decides to take Bridget back after he lets the news sink in more. I think it should have some closure. After all its the CW, they just lost one of their only remaining hit shows with One Tree Hill, and Supernatural probably only has a year left... what do they have to replace with?

THE CW ANNOUNCES EARLY PICKUPS FOR "THE Vampire Diaries," "SUPERNATURAL" AND "90210"

May 3, 2012 (Burbank, California) - The CW Network has given early pickups to the network's top-rated show, THE Vampire Diaries, fan favorite SUPERNATURAL, and the world's most-famous zip code, 90210, with all three series to return for the 2012-2013 season.

THE Vampire Diaries will return for a fourth season of bloody good drama this fall, SUPERNATURAL will mark its eighth season with the monster-hunting Winchester brothers on The CW, and on 90210, the gang from West Beverly will return for season five.

Based on the series of books by L. J. Smith, THE Vampire Diaries is from Bonanza Productions Inc., Outerbanks Entertainment and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Kevin Williamson ("Scream," "Dawson's Creek"), Julie Plec ("Kyle XY," "Wasteland"), Leslie Morgenstein ("Gossip Girl," "Private") and Bob Levy ("Gossip Girl," "Privileged").

SUPERNATURAL is from Warner Bros. Television in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision, with executive producers McG ("Charlie's Angels," "The O.C."), Robert Singer ("Midnight Caller"), Jeremy Carver ("Being Human") and Phil Sgriccia.

90210 is produced by CBS Productions with executive producers Patti Carr ("Life Unexpected," "Private Practice") and Lara Olsen ("Life Unexpected," "Private Practice").

HuffingtonPost.com:

After resisting for some time, Fox has ripped off the band-aid and canceled "Breaking In" and "I Hate My Teenage Daughter."

The comedies join Fox's "Alcatraz" and "The Finder," whose cancellations were announced today as well.

Huffington Post:

Also returning on ABC are "The Middle," "Grey's Anatomy," "Suburgatory," "Castle" and "Modern Family."

We at Huffington Post TV are taking it personally that a renewal for "Happy Endings" has not yet been announced, but before ABC makes its upfront presentation to advertisers next week, that comedy is expected to be renewed, along with "Private Practice" and "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23."

I'm surprised ABC is keeping Grey's when it forced Desperate Housewives to end a season earlier than expected due to falling ratings. Grey's has been falling since 2007.

Grey's is still ABC highest rated drama.

7th September 23, 2010 May 19, 2011 2010-11 #31[71] 11.41[71]

DH was still getting higher ratings as of last season. That show was supposed to end with season 9 yet ABC decided to rush things because they felt it was an overbudgeted past-its-prime series... well, what about Grey's then? #31 is a far cry from its first few seasons as well.

DH had divas in it, GA doesn't. Eva probably wanted too much money.

+the drop-off in GA's ratings isn't as big.

So glad Suburgatory and Castle are renewed.

ABC just need to renew GCB and Don't Trust The B---- and I'll be happy.

Difference between Grey's and DH is huge though. DH has sooo many OTT stories and it really, really had just run it's course.

With Grey'ssure it's not as quality as it was three years ago but it's a medical drama they can go on forever because you can rotate the cast like nobodys business. Anyone who's seen the trailer for the finale will know next year is going to be amazing.

Also looking at those numbers Grey's drops about a million each season for the last four seasons and is averaging 9.5 this season.

That means from the 2007/8 seasons Grey's has gone from 15.9million to 9.5million and DH has gone from 17.5million to 8.3million a much bigger drop.
Uk the only way

I'm a little surprised A Gifted Man is canceled considering Patrick Wilson is still considered a rising star in Hollywood who is only a role or two away from major stardom, CBS will probably regret this like when Fox canceled that Bradley Cooper show that happened right before he became a major star.

NBC have cancelled BFF, Awake, Are You There Chelsea, and Bent. No suprises there, though I thought Bent was very good.

ABC have renewed Happy Endings.

NBC's Parks & Recreation will be back for a 22 episode stint, while Up All Night has been renewed for a 13 episode second season.
