-> If you want slow and relaxing songs, try her latest two albums (Aerial or 50 Words For Snow).
My recommended songs: Wild Man, Snowed In At Wheeler Street, An Endless Sky Of Honey
-> If you want weird experimental stuff, try her first four albums (The Kick Inside, Lionheart, Never For Ever, The Dreaming).
My recommended songs: Wuthering Heights, Hammer Horror, Suspended in Gaffa
-> If you want pop songs, try her middle three albums (Hounds Of Love, The Sensual World, The Red Shoes).
My recommended songs: Deeper Understanding, And So Is Love, Eat the Music, Hounds of Love
Yes!! It is accessible and wonderful at the same time.NothingFails wrote:Yep, Hounds is the perfect album for a newbie.

True. Wuthering Heights is probably her catchiest song. The rest of her music needs a bit more time..chun1702 wrote: Most of her songs need more than one listen to kick in. If you want instant success, listen to Wuthering Heights (from her first album) - I'm sure you know it already though? If yes, try Eat The Music.
So it sounds like you prefer the Ninth Wave half of the album instead of the more commercial first half.TiagoRodrigues wrote:The album got better from track 6 till the end...but sometimes i got the feeling the album was trying to be more then it really was...if you know what i mean, lol.
You can tell it's one of those concept albums from the 80's with random stuff going on...sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't. But i enjoyed it overall...will give it another listen later![]()
OK...i'll try that one next
yeah...i love Running Up That Hill from the first half...but the 2nd half was much better IMO...and on first listen only! I was expecting her trademark voice much more on this album also...but i enjoyed listening to this register in her voice! She's very "versatile" (badly written i know xD) imo!NothingFails wrote:So it sounds like you prefer the Ninth Wave half of the album instead of the more commercial first half.TiagoRodrigues wrote:The album got better from track 6 till the end...but sometimes i got the feeling the album was trying to be more then it really was...if you know what i mean, lol.
