I was talking about Videogames and Blue Jeans EP available on itunes, my dear Timmy.

Moreover, many official singles aren't even released as a separate article on the iTunes store, since they can be downloaded as album tracks. Videogames and Blue Jeans have both their own digital EP, their own video and their own promotional performances.

Video Games and Born To Die both recieve airplay without being sent to radio. It was not officially announced as a single, yet Video Games charted on the hot 100.

Both song could have easily smashed.

Not Americans, but american radios. In fact, you won't buy an album if you don't know the artist. Even if the album is falling on BB200, 225k is pretty good without a hit single. Of course she did AI and SNL but let's not forget that the best promo an artist can get is radio airplay.

Isn't the same true of Australia though - i.e. that she didn't release a single there but the album is still smashing? That was certainly the case for a while, even if she's now released a single there.

And she's really not a singles artist in any case.
