From Music Week.

Adele's 21, number two last week, falls to number five. Its sales are off marginally (0.60%) to 15,365 - its lowest weekly total since its release 67 weeks ago - but, as reported elsewhere, it has now surpassed Michael Jackson's Thriller to become the UK's fifth biggest selling album of all-time with cumulative sales of 4,282,629. As it now trails only Queen's Greatest Hits, The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abba's Gold: Greatest Hits and Oasis' What's The Story Morning Glory, it is the biggest selling album ever by a solo artist.

Perhaps "Turning Tables" should be released as an Australian-only single :P

It has already been released in other countries. In Italy did pretty well. It went Top 10 on both Digital and Airplay Charts and now it's certified Gold but it's reaching Platinum! :D

Was it officially sent to radios? I think it sold well because the live video of the song was aired on many music channels in order to promote the live DVD.

It was sent to radios right after the Brits in Australia but it has never gone higher than #150 since mid February.

Just think if Adele had performed there, sales would be huge.

So, in the UK, Adele has now broken nearly every solo album record there is.
I might do a full UK record update at some point, but here's a basic overview of the solo album records she now has:

- biggest selling ever
- fastest selling ever (to 2, 3 and 4m)
- most wks no.1 ever
- most wks top 5 ever
- most consecutive wks top 10 ever
