Mariah dominates the chart, with 17 entries in total this week. With that, the Queen of Music becomes the first artist ever to occupy more than 15 spots in a single chart this year. Maroon 5's "Payphone" featuring Wiz Khalifa triumphs for a second non-consecutive week. One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" climbs from its #3 position last week to #2, making it seem possible that it may indeed top the chart again for a sixth non-consecutive week again. Bieber's video for "Boyfriend" causes the song to rocket from #44 to #3 this week, becoming Bieber's biggest hit on any of my charts. Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" debuts in the top 10 after a day or two of plays since it "debuted" on American Idol. Whitney makes some re-entries; and Glee debuts with their cover of "What Makes You Beautiful" and "Fighter". Mariah Carey also places 3 songs in the top 10, the first time she has done so this year. Next week, "Payphone" should top the chart -- or will "What Makes You Beautiful" reign over it?

20 new/re-entries shake up the chart this week! The entire One Direction album (bar "Gotta Be You" and "More Than This") re-chart this week, as I spinned this album this week for the 1D Album survivor. As a result, 1D's debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" tops the chart for the sixth non-consecutive week, being the most successful single of the year on my chart so far. Delta Goodrem's new single "Sitting On Top Of The World", despite me hearing it only two days ago, manages a respectable debut at #3. Sandwiched between the two is Nicki Minaj's "Marilyn Monroe", the best album track from her latest album, IMO. Due to Glee, Florence and The Machine's "Shake It Out" re-enters in the top 10, and The Voice finale prompted me to re-spin "The Voice Within" again, allowing Christina to score her first top 10 hit in my chart this year. As a result of her American Idol elimination, Hollie Cavanagh's cover of "The Climb" enters at #11, just shy of being top 10. It's Hollie's first ever entry on my chart. Jessica Sanchez, however, is no stranger to this chart as she enters in the top 20 this week with her phenomenal cover of "And I Am Telling You I Am Not Going". Mariah Carey maintains her dominant position on the chart, though some of her songs have dropped out. Next week, will the video premiere of "Payphone" allow it to surge back to the top after its fall to #4 this week, or will 1D's "What Makes You Beautiful" triumph over it, and score a seventh week at the top?

The Voice of UK makes a splash on this week's chart, with LeAnne Mitchell obtaining three chart entries with "Run To You" (#9), "Mama Told Me Not To Come" (#32) and "I Put A Spell On You" (#43). Vince Kidd and Jessie J's duet of "Nobody's Pefect" lands as the highest coach-contestant duet ranking on this chart, at #29. Train's "Drive By" debuts straight at #1, becoming their only #1 hit on my chart so far. UKMix favourite and Eurovision winner Loreen debuts at #14 with her single "Euphoria". A fun dance track and not as generic as most of the tracks out there, and that's why I kind of like it a lot. Paloma Faith's "Picking Up The Pieces" is one of the finest pieces of UK music I've heard this year and is by far my favourite from her. The Wanted debuts in the top 10 with their fabulous new single "Chasing The Sun", which I believe is better than their hit, "Glad You Came". Though Mariah Carey may not be dominating as she did in the past few weeks, that omnipresent figure places four songs in this week's top 50. One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" never seems to fall out, with it staying strong in the top 10 for a staggering twenty weeks! After watching Madagascar 3 earlier in the week, Katy Perry's "Firework" gains a heavy rotation, thus allowing it to re-enter at #13. Whitney Houston is by far the woman with the most chart-entries this week, with a total of six. Maroon 5's "Payphone" maintains its momentum, staying in the top 5 for a total of 8 weeks.
