Could we also expect a huge No.-1 again, like we were used to back in the day when it comes to Japanese No. 1s 8-) ?
Well, there were lots of new good-selling releases, so that's the main reason why overall sales are quite big this week  I wish albums could sell good, but the future is not promising :P

I know it's OT but how much did the No.-1-album sell?
And what was the highest international album?

So actually not that bad, but of course far from the No. 1 album selling 700k-1 mio. despite being by an artist you never ever heard of before (as an European chart checker, you propably only heard of like Ayumi Hamasaki or Hikaru Utada, maybe Arashi before) easily...

Does anyone have the chart positions for Born this Way (album) in Canada for the past 8 weeks or so? I think the last one I have is #70 on April 7's chart.

...and after that week, she felt down to #93 and the week later BTW left top 100

Just found this article about Chile's BTW tour stop in Santiago and it mentions that the album has sold (doesn't say shipped) more than 10k copies, that would mean that BTW is already elegible for a 1xPlat cert in Chile.

Great jump, I think it will keep on increasing. Hopefully in the end it can reach 800 000 there.

I wish she would do some tv shows while in Japan, those are always very interesting.

^ Consider the relatively mild (I certainly was expecting more) return from her massive performances at Music Station Super Live and Kouhaku Uta Gassen during the end of last year, I don't think they'd chance it. Although perhaps, since she already is IN Japan, it might be easier to do it and not spend thousands of dollars on transportation.

Still, I think we would've gotten news of it by now if she was.

was this posted? if so sorry!:

South Korea Gaon International artists album chart:

#4 new BTW (international special edition)
#92 new The Fame Monster (deluxe edition)

I guessing it's because of the tour's impact there.
