I enjoyed Masterpice, but I didn't connect with Falling Free. I seem to skip it a lot. Maybe it's too long? But it's not my favorite ballad which would have to be "The Power of Goodbye".

I agree with you 100% , but are you talking about "Love Spent" accoustic version? Because I don´t consider the main a version a ballad (it´s my favorite song of the entire album though!)
Love Spent has surpassed I'm Addicted as my favorite song from the album. I love the the last minute and a half.
If you don´t mind getting spoiled there's a version of love spent from the tour, on the tour thread! I don't know if it's fake.
I'm trying to keep the set list a secret for myself. I did it for Confessions and S&S. I KNEW she was going to sing Love Spent though. She had to. I'm very excited for it!

Are you seeing the tour too? I'm going to the Boston show.

I like the idea of not being spoilled but it´s impossible since the first show I´ll watch is in September :(

Would you believe if I tell you that for years I had exact the same thought? :D
But I gave up on that though, cause she will obviously never do anything like that, unfortunately !

I have given much thought to this. As much as I LOVE her ballads, I love that we only get 2. I have to say I'd rather dance for two hours.

MADONNA'S BALLADS are like zillion times BETTER THAN HAD UPTEMPO MATERIAL!
"YOU'LL SEE", "THIS USED TO BE MY PLAYGROUND", "LOVE TRIED TO WELCOME ME", "I WANT YOU", "TAKE A BOW"....it's like a piece of heaven!
I adore them even much much much more than the best stuff from Mary, Whitney or Mariah with their high-voice orgasm.
Madonna's ballads are tender, emotional, private and tender....very personal.
I would love Something to Remember II (Sequel)...

......but I swear, chances are higher that I'm gonna be killed by Beyoncé's baby 2night that we would see release like that

Absolutely, I love most of her ballads. In fact it was Live To Tell (music and video) that made me fell in love with her. And her voice is very melodic and perfect for singing ballads... but i'd rather dance for two hours also!

Meh.

I find her uptempo material to be much more superior, on the whole. I do love Take A Bow though.
