Potentially over 9.1m by next week, and close to 9.4 by end of May. Diamond cert should be July latest.

62nd week in the Top 5.

4 more to match Born In The USA (will definitely happen)
9 more to match Thriller
Counting down the days until 21 outsells Morning Glory in the UK.
Mission complete on 29.12.2012 :)

If Adele doesn't hit number 1 next in the billboard, then I'm afraid she'll be stuck with 23 weeks @ #1.

HDD

XL/Columbia U.K. chanteuse Adele’s long-running 21 continues its reign, the lone Top 5 holdover at #4, adding another 77k to a total which will go over 9 million next week.

Is there a reason for a potential notable sales increase next week?
Because with sales similiar to this week's, I think it won't be enough to beat Carrie Underwood's Blown Away's 2nd week sales...

OK, that's what I didn't know... Carrie Underwood is having some good promo that week, so she should sell about 120k copies then.
Is 21 realistically able to beat that?

What makes you think so?
Just because her last album didn't do well...
It's not like every artist whose last albums did well will have a huge success again, and it's not like every artist whose last album flopped won't do well with the follow-up...
