Twist and Pulse were everything we've seen before. Nothing new and I'm glad they didn't get through.

Lucky was my favourite. I thought her act was worthy of more recognition!!!

I actually looked up that Loveable Rogues song to see who sang the original and then realised it's their song  They could easily have a hit with that.
Yep. Rizzle Sheeran they are!

I hope we see Lucky and Area 51 on TV again. Both very weirdly great.

Lucky was robbed there - easily the most phenomenal act of the night!

Have to say I did like Loveable Rogues though - I hope they can perform a different song in the final just so we can see they're not one hit wonders.

Twist and Pulse Dance Company should have gone through over Mollie - however good she is, she's not as phenomenal as other singers on the show really.

Lucky and Area 51 were the highlights of that semi.

Was glad Twist & Pulse Dance Company didn't get through. Diversity were refreshing the year they won, but now I just feel like I've seen it a million times before with those street dance acts, thanks to this show and Got To Dance.

Lucky was amazing!

So boring and predictable that 2 singing acts got through.

What is the point in this girl group - although no mention of Little Mix comparisons? :-?

Bit of a weak semi-final, I think Chica Latina was actually my favourite tonight

I thought Malaki would be an easy finalist but he was out of key a lot. The magic duo were impressive but don't see them making it. Maybe the dancing school kids but I don't think they were as good as suggested.

The penultimate semi-final is always the weakest. This year is no exception.

I'd like the magic duo and Gatis Kandis to advance. Those dancing kids were very average (and annoying) so I hope they don't go through.

This programme is beyond ridiculous. If you're not a singer or dancer, you've got no chance.

Tonight's top 3 was the worst ever. Those kid dancers were so lame - and would have been ripped to shreds if they were older.

Pudsey FTW.

Glad Malaki didn't make it, he didn't take it well as expected.

Yes Pudsey FTW! I am looking forward to the synchronised swimmers tomorrow, they are my next favourites and would add more variety to the final.

I just find it really silly that people are always complaining that the final is always singers and dancers, yet it's probably those same people who are voting for them to begin with.

In the future, they should have all the singers grouped into the same semi-final(s), all the dancers in the same semi-final, and then that should leave 2-3 semi-finals where we will actually get some variety advancing.

Essex girl did one of my ALL-TIME favourite songs [originally by Bob Dylan I think?], made famous by Patti LaBelle, Forever Young.

Dec just said this was the greatest ever year for talent? What a joke!

I wanted hot Billy George to go though! :(

When do they pick the wildcard?

I think this may be the worst final ever!

Sam Kelly and Ryan (Irish one from tonight) are identical.
Loveable Rogues are the group version of the above.
Only Boys Allowed - a choir? Really?
Another singer in the form of that young girl.

So that's half the acts singing.

Then...kid dancers who were not great and the guy and girl dancers who were hard to focus on. Pass.

I'll be watching for the 3 remaining acts:
Aquabatique - they're not flawless, but it's different.
Jonathan and Charlotte - yes, they're also singers - but they're actually very talented and completely different to the other singers.
Ashleigh and Pudsey - want them to win. Pudsey was mesmerising on Sunday.

What's wrong with a choir?

This particular choir performed THE best audition of the entire series IMO - absolutely amazing act! I would love for them to win.

I just thought it was a little flat. As far as choirs go, they seemed quite average.

Well its unique - they're an all boy, Welsh choir - and I definitely don't agree that they weak! :o

Charlotte - Jonathan's partner - is the definition of weak [at least compared to Jonathan].

They should put all the singers in one semi final and all the dancers in one semi final so we don't get them ALL!

So many good acts like the magicians, Lucky, hoop boy, basketball guy and the comedian last night all missed out

From these semi-finals, my ideal final would have been:

Ashleigh and Pudsey
The Mend
Jonathan and Charlotte
Four Corners (dance act with red head girl)
Lucky
Ashley Elliot (xylophonist - it was a weak semi-final!)
Gatis Kandis
Brynolf and Ljung (magicians)
Billy George (hot boy with wheel)
Aquabatique

This would have meant:
2 singing acts
1 dance troupe
1 synchronised swimming group
1 dog act
1 comedian
1 set of magicians
1 acrobat (wheel)
1 xylophonist
1 contortionist

It would have been so much more varied and so much more fun to watch!

I think 2008 was the best year, closely followed by 2009.
