Had a look at some of The Today Show concerts, most are outside and live, but only sing about 3 or 4 songs.

No Timmy, there have been 5 singles released from 21 in various countries. You know exactly what tracks I'm referring to anyway, so your comment is needless.

Headed into the Mother's Day weekend, it now looks as if Carrie Underwood will score her first-ever second week at #1. Shockingly, no album by Underwood has ever spent more than one week at the top. Adele, who earlier in the week appeared as a likely challenger, may now have to settle for #2. Past history, however, suggests she can never be counted out, especially with Mother's Day this Sunday. Here's how it looks headed into the weekend:

Carrie Underwood (19/Arista Nashville) 105-115k
Adele (XL/Columbia) 90-95k

You mean Turning Tables? Tell me in which country has it been officially released...

According to Prensario Música, it reached triple platinum in April (120,000 copies sold) in Argentina. I doubt it is officially certified, but the record company states it sold that many.
Great!!!

Those are the morning shows where they do play live, outside during the summer concert series. And it's put in during a four hour show of various other news segments. This is a special primetime show just for Adele. That almost never happens. This is awesome really.

More like 4 US singles + MYFML and Chasing Pavements.

In Spain 21 hasn't sold more than 150k.
It has 4 Platinum (1 Platinum = 40k)

The certification level was lowered 8 months ago.
But 21 was released more than 8 months ago and therefore the old certification level counts for it...
No. It doesnt work that way in Spain... It's not about date of publication. In fact, A LOT of albums got a higher certification the week it was lowered (from G to Plat, from Plat to 2xPl, even from 3 to 5, etc.) Rule applies to all albums on chart despite the date of publication. (It doesnt affect catalog as they're not elegible to chart unless it's a reissue)

21 was only Gold in Spain prior to the lowering... So yes, 150k is more than reasonable for 21 in Spain. (or even less as it's obviously overshipped)

What makes you think so?
Just because her last album didn't do well...
It's not like every artist whose last albums did well will have a huge
success again, and it's not like every artist whose last album flopped
won't do well with the follow-up...
timmy her singles were not huge and hype is nothing ;)
well did adeles 19 have hype? she was a no body then and 21 brought her sucess same could happen with leona in a few years time
