Fantastic movie! One of my special, have special memories related to it.Vindrag wrote:^^ giggle! I'm gonna go to bed now with Mind Train!
Always when listening to that track I either imagine her doing it live on stage with me moving around in the crowd, rather carefree and wonderful. Or I imagine a scene from the movie Spirited Away where the characters travel with train over water towards the sixth station...
Ugh, beilive me, it will took a loooooooooooooooot of time for that to happen. I haven't even listened to rest of discography from some act that I just LOVEcrazycrazy wrote::D Now go and listen to the womans whole discography!!
Thank you for the memoriesVindrag wrote:This has become one of my favourite Yoko songs! It's definietly the album I'll purchase after Blueprint. I love her vocals on this track, they feel so vulnerable and heartfelt.Vindrag wrote:Vindrag wrote:I'm Going Away Smiling
I've been playing it a lot along with the new single from Paul Buchanan, "Mid Air". They feel somehow connected.
No it's not only the music that I love from Yoko but I'm just lazy when it comes to things like that! I have some things from her and excerpts and things, her music is life giving on it's own.Vindrag wrote:Two exhibitions in two years here, she must've had something in the UK as well - maybe you're just interested in her music!?
I own some of her books, one collections of poems in particular which inspired me a lot in my younger days. You should check out some of her litterature as well!
Well I'm glad you've made it to the land of Yoko, you will probably eventually have to get all of her albums I feel! "DO ITTT!!"Vindrag wrote:It's her whole persona which have always interested me. Even when I hadn't listened to her music, I knew that I would do it sometime in the near future. Just like I always knew I would become a Björk fan somtime, so I purchased all her albums before I had even heard more than 1-3 songs. Thing with Yoko was that, her albums was nowhere to be seen!
Lazy indeed! But you're allowed to be!
