I think if they release this third single simultaneously around the world with the live video accompanying it by release´s time , maybe there´s a chance to create a buzz and consequently generate interest for it (the chances are bigger depending on the chosen song and the quality of the video/performance).denise wrote:What do you mean with "let's hope the waiting will be worthy"? Not sure about the rest of your query.

Bruce Springsteen is selling fairly well and has absolutely no hits. "We Take Care Of Our Own" hasn't entered ANY official chart while Madonna has had 3 songs charting even though none of them has made it big. And Springsteen's selling power hasn't been that huge for many years now. For his standards "Wrecking Ball" is doing pretty well worldwide, still being higher in many countries than MDNA released several weeks later.dik wrote:Cut all the drama! As said before Madonna has become a classic rock act (no offense) She sells 1,5 million albums without doing some tv appearances. Her tour is the most important thing right now. I expect she will give us a great show and along the way she'll sell some MDNA. BTW have you seen the sales of Bruce Springsteen!!! Great reviews, bad selling.
The US of A doesn't appreciate their heroes!!
Not necessarily. Many could have bought their tickets in traditional outlets instead of ordering online, I guess.TiagoRodrigues wrote:Many people didn't redeem the album...Shadowplay wrote:it is beyond my comprehension... 653k people will go to her concert and the album sold 456k copies. considering she always performs almost the complete new album and a few oldies, more than 200k will attend a show listening to Mdna songs for the first time.Thebeatgoeson wrote:According to the Wall Street Journal MDNA has sold 653000 tickets to the 43 North American leg (30K remaining)...
and they could have had the album for free!
You are the only hater here if this type of comment is all you can come up with.spiritboy wrote:Sad news for haters, while you are busy trying to bring Madonna down, she's gonna generate around $500m this year.![]()
Now, who owns the throne
Of course all these statements are false, alek always artificially inflates figures. In Japan sales went down from 5,209 to 4,586 and in most of European countries the album slid down the charts so why would the sales be the same?arab wrote:That's falsealek wrote:in us she has sold almost the same , in japan up ,and i guess in europe she would sell the same of the last week

Probably not yet as last week she was at roughly 95,5k so I doubt she sold 4,5 this week alone.alek wrote:100,000 copies soldmavericksire wrote:UK Albums

You've been repeating it for months now. We get your point.alek wrote:she need some promo
There definitely won't be a simultaneaous release around the world because "Girl Gone Wild" is only now being released in the UK and Ireland. The physical singles was just made available and VH1 is starting to play the video.atbw13 wrote:I think if they release this third single simultaneously around the world with the live video accompanying it by release´s time , maybe there´s a chance to create a buzz and consequently generate interest for it (the chances are bigger depending on the chosen song and the quality of the video/performance).denise wrote:What do you mean with "let's hope the waiting will be worthy"? Especially because the tour will have started and the press/media will be all over it.
Let´s see how this will be handled...
That's not true.maroon wrote: "We Take Care Of Our Own" hasn't entered ANY official chart while Madonna has had 3 songs charting even though none of them has made it big.

Thanks to ChartFreaky
note: on the regular album chart -non combined- (mediacontrol) the album is at #46 as was posted before
You do realize the differences in the 100's on the iTunes chart can be as little as a few copies right? lolMadgeAngel wrote:Well Mother's Day had a considerable impact on MDNA considering that it was in the 300/400 range on iTunes as late as yesterday and is now in the mid 200s and improving every update!! The price cut for standard is also in the top 100 Pop!!
