Keane score fifth number one with Strangeland

Rock band Keane have gone straight to number one with their latest album, Strangeland, giving them an unbroken run of five chart-toppers.

Only The Beatles managed more, reaching the top with their first seven albums - from Please Please Me to Revolver.

Keane's latest release outsold its closest competitor, Emeli Sande's Our Version Of Events, two copies to one.

Keane's Strangeland debuts at a disappointing #17. The group's last two full-length albums made the top 10. The album is off to a faster start in the U.K., where it debuts at #1. It's the group's fifth #1 album in a row. Keane received a Grammy nomination as Best New Artist of 2005
