wtf

45m$ is really nothing...

We can't say it is little, in fact it isnt. It's a huge amount of money, we won't ever earn in our lifes. Let alone 1m$.

So what's your problem now? She earned this much, nothing more nothing less.

Katy Perry to receive "Billboard Spotlight Award":
THE BILLBOARD SPOTLIGHT AWARD: Katy Perry

Honoring a singular accomplishment on the Billboard charts during the Billboard Music Award charting year, the Spotlight Award goes to Katy Perry this year. August 27, 2011 was a fine day for the pop phenomenon: "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" ascended to the No. 1 position on Billboard's Historic Hot 100 singles chart. This was the fifth song from her Teenage Dream album to hit No. 1 on the Hot 100, tying the record set by Michael Jackson's Bad album, and establishing Perry as the only female artist in history to achieve five No. 1s from one album.

Ironically the poster also shows her in a fake blue wig and a silly costume.

Next in line was Katy Perry, whose "Teenage Dream" album was responsible for 30 million digital track sales alone—one of just three albums ever to release six or more top-five singles.

5 million WW very soon! Does anyone have an idea of how many digital singles the album has sold WW? I'm thinking ~50 million, but I'm not really sure. If it is as high as 50 million, that means this album has sold over 10 million track-equivalent-albums WW.

Even though I'm ready for this era to be done, I'm excited to see how WA fairs and it keeps the album consistent.
