Well she seems in full album mode now and has been for most of this year! She's been in the studio so much so at least we know she's hard at work!

I just wish she would comment herself! I hate secondary sources of news! I need to hear it from the horses mouth before I believe anything anymore! :lol:

Nick said on his website that Mariah's gonna have a record out this year and asked fans about their favorite songs etc etc.

Mariah said she was finishing up a song very appropriate for the occasion (by the way, when and what the fack was this occasion?!??? :lol:

) that she was going to put out soon.

*sigh* The way things are going I see this new album coming out in April 2013. Mariah will probably do those random concerts, keep working on the album, and plug MCIIY for the rest of the year.

Nick has never said she's gonna have a new album out in 2011. He said she'll have.a new record out by the end of last year and I think he was referring to the Tony B, JB and Legend duets.

I hate the fact that the album will not come out until the end of the year and maybe next year :evil:

Long wait does not mean good album.
I feel like right now will be good for her to drop a single, the songs on the charts are so bland.

Boo Mariah. I don't mind taking her time. But I really find the whole 'soon' thing over the top. Music soon, save the day soon, mesmerized soon, new stuff soon,... she needs to look up the word in a dictionary. It's just frustrating as a fan to check things all the time just because she says 'soon'. Which means months/years in her private dictionary. Don't hype up if nothing is comming. end.

^ Mariah has said nothing at all about her plans!

Only music related thing she has said is coming "soon" is "Mesmerized" and she said in Shape she hopes to release in her album in 2012, sentiments echoed by Randy today!

All the "soon" and words used to hype people up were just started by fans who thought they knew something about the album/era when in fact they obviously knew nothing!

Everything that was said about music coming soon has been hearsay with no real proof!

I'm really interested to see what's she's been cooking up. What kind of music she's been experimenting with?

But you guys probably shouldn't hang onto her every word like that. Soon is a very vague and subjective word.

Me too. She'll be probably be loyal to the sound she's been making, but I hope they are creative enough to not drop on the same stale beats.
