Yeah I liked it a lot too.

Good album! More pop/dance than rock I think.

Great song! Should definitely be a single.

I think my favourite after "Perfect World" is "I Won't Play" though, amazing production!
Indeed, another great song on the album.

Such album with optimistic and fun music is needed now in my life

I'm so happy they brought some solo Beth sound to this record. It's so different.
Guitars, bass, percusion and some great '80 synths. Add Amazing Beths vocals and you have one of the best pop albums this year!
So surprised.
I love Casualities of War and I wont play the most right now but there is no single track i don't really like. Same as Marinas albums. Ohhh i didn't expect May ad 2012 is gonna be so great musically!

My album arrived today from Play, not had a chance to listen to the whole thing but have flicked through it and it sounds SO good! I did, however, listen to "Get Lost" in full as it really grabbed my attention, it's all kinds of AMAZING. Really captures the 90s sound a lot of people seem to be trying to do at the moment, it's SO, SO good!

The bassline on "I Won't Play" sounds superb and "Love In A Foreign Place" and "Move In The Right Direction" sound like highlights. I really like "Perfect World" but from first impressions, I think "Move In The Right Direction" or "Get Lost" should have led the album! I think this is going to be my favourite album from them so far.

It sounds really good. I think the indie pop sound suits them.

Low :( I guess with no hit single to lead it was expected though.

After listening to the album a few times...

Perfect World - 10/10
Move In The Right Direction - 10/10
Into The Wild - 10/10
Get A Job - 9/10
Casualties of War - 10/10
Get Lost - 8/10
Involved - 7.5/10
Horns - 8.5/10
I Won't Play - 10/10
Love In A Foreign Place - 8.5/10

= 91.5/100 [91.5%]

Into The Wild, Get A Job, Casualties of War, I Won't Play are the highlights of the non-singles. I Won't Play MUST be a single.

Perfect World remains THE best track of 2012 for me, and the best song Gossip have recorded since Heavy Cross.

I am really surprised about how much I like this album. Gossip were new to me when they released Heavy Cross and the singles after that were really not my cup of tea. But when I fell in love with Perfect World a few weeks ago I decided to get the album. It certainly won't become my favourite album of the year, but it's a good listen.

Hope they have the success this deserves. I'm not too worried about Germany, we seem to love them.

Listened to it in full again today... SO GOOD! Not one track is less than 7/10 for me, I'm actually annoyed that it's not going to be a commercial success. If this were a Girls Aloud record they'd score five top 20 hits off it.

:( Deserves better.

The campaign is a bit messed up here, releasing "Perfect World" but performing "Move In The Right Direction (which wasn't available to buy). They should have released that as the first single here!

They probably realised Perfect World was getting no media attention and was a dead duck so focused another song that was getting some good response - which was available two days afterwards and charted on iTunes.

Fantastic news! :D I'm hoping for "Get Lost" after that.

But then "Perfect World" is quite a bit different to what they've done before so it would have been nice for them to do a performance of it. It's not instantly recognisable as a Gossip track!
