Never thought of that, yes the character has a similar presence but I prefer Yoko's as well it is more demonic and medieval. 8-) Have either of you heard that album? It has some fantastic bits on it. :D

:D

Wow there were quite a few records competing for a top 10 spot this week, 17 plays as a minimum is quite high really! :o  My Judee Sill addiction which started about 10 weeks ago seems to have taken a back seat this week as her self titled one dropped 10 spots and just missed out at #11 this week.

Never heard any song of Darren Hayes!

He's a co-writer of Fall Again, one of my favourite ballads of all time.

:D Yes Sineads one is fantastic!! :o *I'm at work at the minute, but can't wait to go and listen to it again!*

Yes try Darren, his latest one (my #5) is quite pop orientated but he has released some surprising stuff, he has quite a few great tracks. I have been thinking of doing a Top 40 for him as well. I've been a fan for a while now and know all of his songs so feel ready to do that sometime soon, might be a good idea to follow maybe? :D

Glad Yoko is on your list 8-) , I get the impression you've not heard any of her music properly yet. This will be an interesting start for you, "Approximately Infinite Universe" is her most accessible one, "Rising" is also a great start for those that like something a little different. :D

An album I can sense will enter my Top 10 next week is Emmerson, Lake & Palmer's self titled/debut album! It is so good!! :o

To be honest I don't know any of the albums you've got in your chart, so I'm going to have a listen to some of the songs from one of them.
I'm gonna go with Darren Hayes - Secret Codes & Battleships as I like the album cover.

Can I just say THANK YOU as I'm so glad that your chart made me listen to Darren Hayes. I really like his music. He does like to sing with a high voice though. :D
So far I've listened to:
Bloodstained Heart - Really good, about 3/4 the way through when more of the music was added, that was Epic.

Black Out The Sun - I really like the beat although I prefer Bloodstained Heart as this one didn't grip me as much.

Explode - It's okay, but doesn't do much for me.

Tiny Little Flashlights - I quite enjoyed this song, I prefer his voice in this song.

That's all I could listen to for the moment. But he reminds me of Will Young a bit, in terms of his voice, except I prefer Darren to Will. :D

Wow some random tracks you've chosen! :P Aww so glad you like him, yes there are similarities to Will. :D I suggest you try the whole record, he has a diverse discography. Woooo I'm happy you like him! 8-)

Yeh, they are quite random. I had a look a the track listing and went with ones that have been singles like Bloodstained Heart and Black Out the Sun and then I thought I'd listen to some of the songs on the Deluxe Version which is why I went with Explode and Tiny Little Flashlights.
I couldn't help myself and wanted to listen to just one more before I went to bed, so I decided to go with Stupid Mistake as its the newest single from the album and I really don't like the music video but I LOVE the song. Definitely the best song I've listened to so far from him. But now I've gotta go to bed. :D

I like Anastacia, Left Outside Alone is incredible. Her vocals are amazing as well, and that's one of the things I value in a music artist.

I couldn't agree more, good vocalists deserve so much respect. Plus, for me it doesn't matter what genre of music they are, if they have a good voice (even if I don't really like their music) I will have a degree of respect for them as a music artist.

Yes I agree, being a great vocalist should be respected but there is much more to being a great artist in my eyes. :D
