completely unbelieveable, stupid, and immature storyline, but I still thought it was great!

Little Nicky:-

Saw the last 10 mintues on C4 a few months back, bought The Mask/Mike Bassett/Nicky tripple pack from play.com which came this week.

If you watch it knowing its a daft Tongue in cheek kind of film its a good bit of fun. The plot is kind of lame but its suppost to be, And you know the 'good guy' is going to win all along but its worth renting if you like that 'Men In Black' kind of humour, and need a 3rd dvd to make up the 3 for £5 offer at blockbuster

Shark Tale:-

Whats always good about these kind of movies, Is the adult undertones

But on another level if you think about it the stories of these are only good because there animated if you did the same story with real people and set it in NYC it would'nt be that good, but Im not knocking it Im saying the fact its a mafia story but set at the bottom on the ocean with a Fish cast it becomes entertaining

Eurotrip:-

Proof you don't neccasary need an All-star cast to make a entertaining movie, A low budget movie but it comes out well with alot of comedy and twists in the tale. Roadtrip only better becuase its 'stereotypical' american 20-something only in places they would'nt be in, its never been done before and as daft as it sounds being an american production No offenfence but I don't think americans would find it funny but they would'nt understand alot of the refrences. Thumbs up

Highliy predictable, and a definite disappointment after the excellent hilarious "Boat Trip"! I did think the religious scenes were far too much - and those were the only really funny scenes.

40 Days And 40 Nights:

Watched this on DVD after having wanting to watch it since it was out! Thankfully, it was worth watching on DVD rather than in a cinema because it's totally overrated - and I didn't find it funny at all. One hella disappointing 'teen comedy'.

White Chicks is the movie where the Wayans Bros. (of Scary Movie) are FBI agents who go undercover as two prissy white chicks. Hilarious.

Rented out a whole bunch of movies: Halloween: H20; Higher Learning; Don't Be A Menace...; Shriek If You Know... and Six Degrees Of Separation - the last one is a truly imaginative, interesting piece. It stars Will Smith as a conman, and it details the lives of those' whom he comes into contact with.

Kill Bill Vol 1

I honestly don't see why people like films like this. Whilst I appreciate it's amazing direction and superb acting I thought it was a bit sick. And the ending is annoying me so now I feel like I need to see Vol 2 despite not even liking the movie.

The Forgotten

Why oh why did I bother with this...got thrown out for throwing popcorn around and disturbing the old people in 'The Incredibles' (snuck in after 'The Forgotten') :oops:

It has an amazing and shocking ending though 8-)

The rest of the film sucks :lol:

Predictable, and did'nt really go anywhere the same backdrop for 90% of the entire film, but quite enojyable from a sci-fi plot view

Bridget Jones II: The Edge Of Reason

No idea why people were slating it so much, I really like it! I found it extremely funny and Renee was fantastic 8-)

The parts where it was dramatic were too boring imo, I don't think they were that dramatic really.

All in all I'd give it 8.5/10

Shrek 2

Watched this earlier in the week on DVD & IMO, it's not quite as good as the first movie. Whilst it's not bad for a sequel, I just feel that they had too much to live up to & it was a slight letdown for me. However, did like Puss In Boots & Donkey as a stallion :lol:

Mean Girls

Also watched this earlier in the week & lordy, did it remind me of my school days with all the bitchy girls! I didn't find it particularly witty, but if anyone ever needed an insight into high school girl cliques & the things girls will do to get one up on each other, this is definitely the movie to watch! Reminded me of the fact that if I ever did bitch about ppl, I got caught out & then suffered the wrath of so-called friends :roll:

Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason

Like Maaian said, dunno why ppl are slating this cos I too loved it! I loved the first movie too & this one was one of those sequels that, unlike Shrek 2 where I felt a little disappointed, I feel is just as good as the original. Renee Zellweger is fantastic, as is Hugh Grant & Colin Firth too! The bit in the Thai prison is rather funny!

It has a brilliant story to it and a brilliant bad guy mastermind 8-)

Some of the flashbacks are just sickening!

All the more better a movie!

Over the last month (Nov-Dec),I have seen:

Alien Vs Predator.OK,nothing special.I was really expecting more.Had its moments,but I found it kinda disappointing. 5.5/10

The Grudge.Hmmmm,I thought it was decent enough,but again I expected a bit more. 6.5/10

The Incredibles.Lol this was great.I loved it,and I hope there's a sequel

Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights - It was alrite. Dunno why it was called "Dirty Dancing 2" though! Had nothing to do with that movie. "Havana Nights" would have been a much more appropriate title. :-?

The Incredibles - 9/10

I dunnno why but as soon as it finished I could've sat through it all over again. I really liked the characters and the storyline. One of the best movies of the year. The short film before is ace as well :lol:

Airplane II: The Sequel

Saw the 1st one on C5 about a year and went to buy the DVD and nearly bought the double pack then but someone at work told me the 2nd one was crap and not to bother

Wish I had done now tho, Saw this on C5 on thursday and loved it. Excally the same as the 1st movie same humour, same cast, same story actully but one of thoses cases where its a good thing, will be ordering it from play.com sometimes just after xmas for sure
