NBC announced yesterday that the show will air two cycles during the 2012-2013 TV season (both fall and spring) with a September 9 return date already announced. Open-call auditions around the country begin in July, with the Blind Audition rounds with the star judges likely to begin filming sometime in early August ahead of the premiere.

So it seems like Cee Lo, Levine and Christina are back to the show, we don't know if Blake will still make it... The article doesn't really confirm which judges are in or out... but by the photo, I guess Christina is in... it's so weird to see Agulera and Levine together in a show, IMO it is so awkward and tension is still there according to numerours reports.. I really hate that controversy, coming from Levine's side...
He can't stand Aguilera's opinions, but he's so childish about this that he only makes drama off of it...
I hope that they can work things out for the best, not only for them, or their fans, but basically for the SHOW which is obviously against THE X FACTOR this year...

jpguy you are super biased  It takes two to tango and both have acted childishly. Neither is worse than the other.

I assume Blake will be back, but it seems a bit soon really.

An idea of promoting Christina's new CD, maybe?

That's the way they had this planned since last year, it has nothing to do with Christina... ;) ... I was just waiting for some confirmation, and MTV got it here...
I hope it turns out to be Aguilera's album though... if JLo's got that treatment on IDOL

NBC's The Voice will be bringing its spinning chair gimmick into the show's battle rounds, it has been reported.

The programme, which just wrapped its second season, uses blind auditions in its early episodes.

Judges Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, and Cee Lo Green listen with their backs turned to hopefuls, so that looks do not affect their decisions. They choose contestants by spinning their chairs around..

Deadline reports that the feature will be used in next season's battle rounds for the first time.

There is no word yet on exactly how the chairs will change the proces of battle rounds, but NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said that the addition will make The Voice "even better and more competitive".

The Voice is among several shows returning for NBC's 2012-2013 fall schedule.

All four judges have signed on to participate this fall, though their spring contracts will be based on whether the musicians will be available for the rigorous shooting schedule.
Hmm, wonder how they'll incorporate the spinning chairs into the battle rounds :-?

Thinking about it, they could just mean the 'Time Out' thing Australia does with it...

It means that after the battle, if the coach can't decide, they can take a time out, turn around and have a chat with their battle advisor, who is sat behind them...

The rapid rate of the seasons is showing this show to be 100% about TV and not about making a star. I know that's pretty much always been the case with talent shows but this is becoming like a factory production line!

Does The Voice US stay popular the whole series, or does it lose loads of viewers after the blind auditions like the UK version ?

Well, the four Blind Audition episodes from season 2 (I excluded the season premiere because it followed the Super Bowl so naturally it had ginormous ratings) averaged around 16.2 million viewers.
The Battle Rounds averaged around 13 million viewers while the Live shows barely passed 10 million. (None of the Elimination episodes passed the 10 million mark).
So it should come as no surprise that they are making changes to incorporate the spinning chairs in the Battle Rounds.
I also think the ratings are gonna fall even further if they continue with their current plan of having 2 cycles a year. #VoiceBurnout

And the drama between the judges, either this or that... all that negative stuff will impact the ratings as well I believe...
