Nice ratings, i prittyyy much agree on all of em!

Wrong Singles, Wrong Order, Lack of Promotion, Delcining Label, Non-Commited Mangment/Label

.........not a recipe for success...no matter if ur Brandy or Beyonce. If all that surrounds ur LP then ur doomed to fail! A damn shame but shes coming back with a vengance!

That album could have done wonders for her if it hadnt been for the aforementioned reasons cuz it's one of the best R&B efforts I've heard in a long time. And it's a lot better than DIL as an overall album package.

DIL has nothing on Afrodisiac in quality... i agree! No way no how..

'DIL' is very much like 'Brandy' it was led by its singles, had to many fillers, and then a few hot songs here n there...both were a little patchy. But 'Brandy' was more gospel, soul than DIL even!

I absolutely love this album. She tapped into Timbo and Kanye'sworld before they exploded! The beats are sick too!!! If you like Timbo and not into his latest generic stuff, listen to this album!!!

My faves are Necessary and Say You Will. SYW was my 4am jam, coming from the club!

This album is seriously my one of my favorite R&B albums ever. Brandy at her finest and Timbaland at his one of his production finest.

I always wonder why she never paid this record to much attention while she always referring to Full Moon as being her best (maybe because it was more successful). I think that this is her best album hands down.

Why did people bump this?

I thought it was something like Afrodisiac Part II, with the 'new' in the title :(

I completely agree! I couldn't believe it got mixed reviews from people at the time because I thought Brandy and Timbaland made magic together. It doesn't sound like anything else Timbaland worked on! It's a superb album from start to finish. "Full Moon" and "Never Say Never" are my next favourites.

I have to say I overlooked this album when it came out. I was sooo disappointed, I guess that's because I was expecting a kind of sound from her and she delivered something else, plus many songs are growers.
Through the years I've grown to appreciate this album. It's definitely one of her best albums.

Songs I loved instantly :
- Afrodisiac (the video is quite embarrassing)
- I Tried (epic song)
- Where You Wanna Be (loove her deep voice and the dark vibe of the song)
- Finally
- Should I Go

Song I liked instantly :
- Come As You Are

Songs I've grown to love :
- Focus (it's definitely one of the best tracks)
- Necessary (I didn't get this song at first but I love the poppy sound of the song now, it makes you - feel good)
- How I Feel (I didn't appreciate this track at first, but I grew to love the sensual vibe of the song)

Songs I've grown to like :
- Who I Am
- Turn It Up

Still not a fan of these songs:
- Talk About Our Love (one of the worst chorus ever, too bad because the verses are quite enjoyable, I'm still shocked it was the lead single)
- Saddidy
- Say You Will
Eiffel - "Foule Monstre"

I remember shaking my head when I first saw the 'Talk About Our Love' video because the song was disappointing, but now I think it's cute, and the title track is still hot

Should I Go is beautiful, even though it's like she's singing something that a fan of hers wrote on a forum or something
