I'd say singles sell extremely well over there in general. I remember when Rihanna's Take A Bow sold over 1 mio. copies two years after its release there and Kesha's Tik Tok also was a million seller there...arab wrote:Adele and Maroon 5scootermcgee27 wrote:RITD has sold 2.5 million copies in South Korea? Downloads are extremely cheap, that's why the market is so big there.Timmy94 wrote:I'd say singles sell extremely well over there in general. So selling 1 mio. copies in South Korea is like selling 1 mio. copies in the USA, despite the country only having an eighth of the US' population.
Will find out on Monday morning.DenisMarie wrote:Any sales increase for 21 ???
70th consecutive week in the top 10. Only 3 more weeks in the top 10 to beat Amy/Gaga and have the longest-running top 10 album by a female.arab wrote:Adele and Maroon 5scootermcgee27 wrote:RITD has sold 2.5 million copies in South Korea? Dropped to #29 on mine. Still, it can't defy gravity forever. Fortunately lots of the stuff above it don't count for the purposes of chart positions, and given how poor album sales have been lately, we're probably talking about very small numbers between them anyway.NorfolkScot wrote:21 #28 on UK iTunes, this is the lowest it's been since release.
It's going to drop without any promo, the only thing I can think of for the 16xP is a re-release.Spoffle wrote:Dropped to #29 on mine. Still, it can't defy gravity forever. I can't see anything on the horizon that would give it a UK boost either - which makes the new certification all the more intriguing![]()
