Yeah, that guy confirmed me on Twitter. But you know, "Irreplaceable" has sold near 7,2 million, "Single Ladies" has sold near 7,8 million, "Halo" near 5,7 million. Carlo has its own way. Mine is IFPI's way.

How on earth has "Crazy in Love" sold 8 million when it only sold 400k in the UK and 1.5M in the US. :-?

The First Page of sales need to be updated. Telephone sold over 7.4 million in 2010 I'm sure it's pass that now. Single Ladies needs to be updated , well the whole page needs to be updated

Crazy In Love has sold 8 million worldwide. Hips Don't Lie sold 10 million which was #1 on that Best Selling Singles List and Crazy In Love was No.2. It's very safe to say Beyonce has sold well over 100 million records as a solo artist.

2007 best selling single was Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" with more than 7 million tracks/mastertones sold. Digital market was not big in 2003, physical sales for singles were close to 0 in US, how exactly would CIL sell 8 million copies? That list looks bs to me. she has sold over at least 110M records in solo part.. 70 millons single, 25-26 millon album (30M in my opion), 15 millons dvd,ringtone/mastertones etc etc..

When we say the sales for a song like Irreplaceable for example, do we include the mastertones/ringtones sales?

Just because on this thread Irreplaceable's worldwide sales are over 4 million, but adding toegther just it's ringtone/mastertone sales with it's US sales it's already on over 6 million.
Plus, if we don't include ringtone/mastertone sales, then why don't we?

No, Carlo doesn't include ringtones sales. Ringtones sales have to be included! IFPI includes them! "Irreplaceable" has sold over 7 million worldwide and "Halo" over 5,7.

USA: 4,877,000
UK: 641,000
Australia: 247,000
Mastertones/Ringtones: 1,000,000
Korea: 487,847
Canada: 170,000
New Zealand: 15,000
Spain: 40,000

Total: 7,477,847

So really, because we don't have the sales from places like France, Germany or Denmark available, Single Ladies is DEFINITELY 7.5 million maybe even 7.6 million.
By the way, I got a lot of the sales data from the I Am Sasha Fierce era thread, so the sales are a bit old, but at least we have some to go with.

Unfortunately, "Single Ladies" didn't sell much at all in France & Germany. I always add 100,000 for the rest of Europe (= all countries except UK). Last "Single Ladies" update in South Korea is 496,053.

but I'm certain it had sold more, really more like over 1 million, perhaps even 1,2/3 million.

Last "If I Were A Boy" update sales in South Korea is 85,272 copies as of April 30, 2012. This number only includes known sales.

Hm. Yes. Lol. "Halo" is dangerously getting closer to 1 million while Honesty topped 800k. "Listen" has sold 735,619 copies as of April 30, 2012: I update this song every month and not every week; same with "Telephone", which has sold 1,203,609 copies as of April 30, 2012. "Love on Top" might top 400k mark in one, two weeks or three if its sales decrease a lot.

There are songs I need to calculate total. But I don't have time for now.
