I don't like that many of the most recent deluxe editions only include songs which are obvious for not having made the standard edition (= filler material).
Deluxe editions are actually made for the core fanbase and so should include the best songs (as a gift for the fans) or songs which are great but maybe not commercial enough...

Sign O The Times > Bad > Purple Rain > Thriller > 1999

...If we're talking Prince/MJ.

Speed Demon is better than any Prince song though, on the aforementioned albums, except for (debatably) Hot Thing.

Good to see another Prince fan here.

Honestly though, I've been into both guys since I was weaning off diapers, and besides being black men who were huge in the 1980s, they are such apples and oranges, though they were hands down two of the greatest live performers I ever got to see in person. I never could see Michael portray himself as a flawed anti-hero like Prince did in Purple Raim nor could I picture Prince portraying himself like Michael Jackson did. They were both fantastic in their own ways but were very different, even though they did share some mutual influences (James Brown, Little Richard, etc..). I do agree with SOTT>Bad and Thriller>1999, although all four of those albums are five star efforts IMO.

I actually loathe the smell and taste of alcohol too. I will admit though, that the after-effects are to die for!

Alcohol doesn't have a particular taste, it depends on the drink

This is a 50/50 statement.. not entirely true nor false.

I highly recommend you to attend several wine tasting sessions so you can develop the skills to learn more about wine pairings and I'm sure you're point of view will change.

LOL honestly I think the receptionist or hotel workers could care less about who you're banging or who's banging you  unless you're dumb enough to go and check-in in a hotel where you know there's a relative working or a friend...

Also if you live in a very small town well there's a high risk.

Heck no.

I know people who work in hospitality (hotels)...

They talk about people. And when I say talk, I mean talk.

And you have to think about it: what if one of your loved ones decides to play FBI agent for a week?

Well the town I come from is not that small (with our standards) I mean you can still do bullshit and being seen and word not get out (at least in your own circle) and I don't live there anymore so I guess I am kinda forgotten but on the other hand, my family does know a lot of young people (who are the ones who are mostly doing such jobs) and they are kind of local provincial celebrities (lol) so I don't know I worry...

On the other hand the idiot has already made the reservation without asking me and put my name as "the guest" so I guess it's done now (especially considering that the chosen hotel is opposite my own flat which can't be used because my brother stays there temporarily). Whatever gossip will be will be

Either he has a "side project" or this is his main squeeze.

Well...if I was you, I wouldn't even be entertaining this situation. Because if I ever get around to even planning to do something that's viewed as scandalous, it's going to be in a controlled environment...AKA my home.

But I'm not you.

So my advice to you is to do your best to be discreet and inconspicuous.

Other than that, just do what it do and roll with the punches.

Hopefully, this "idiot" is worth it.

I guess it depends. People are always gonna talk about others - whether they know them or not, and there's always the chance that X person knows Y person who knows you, but really, does that matter?

If you wanted to get your freak on with a consenting adult in a hotel room, who the hell is anyone to get in your business? And if it did get back round, who cares?

"Hey man, my girl's girl said she seen you up in a hotel coming out with some girl."

"Yup. Bleeped her."

Who cares?

Unless yous a dog, and you're cheating on someone and don't wanna get caught - any public place is risky. But in honesty, if you're up for betraying those you love, your chump ass deserves to get caught for it.
