It'll do a modest 350k to max I'd say 450k first week. 2x Platinum and maybe 5 million worldwide. American Idol and Ellen pushed him last time with RvR and "OMG" JUST got released back then too.

So far, "Climax" held it for 6 weeks on top, "Scream" is doing very good and "Lemme See" is heating up. Already a more successful era than RvR imo.

There isn't much competition lol. Only Trey and Chris are the real competition commercially, and that's not too much considering how Usher sells way more.

Quality wise, it's more than just R&B, so it's a little unfair.

Chris is doing dance trash these days. Him and Usher don't belong in the same sentence let alone the same genre

It'a true that Chris does more dance tracks these days but that's a little unfair cuz Usher's mainstream singles are dance tracks too. :P

However Usher has success on all formats while Chris is struggling with his 2 mehh and awful urban singles atm.

That is so rich when Usher has released Scream...

Off the back of OMG , More , Without you and Dj

They are just the same thing IMO.

Chris is making better Dance tracks and Usher is making better R'N'B ones but overall same level. I love both

I'm with you that it was rather hypocritical, but I'd like to hear these better dance tracks you speak of. They are both doing rather generic yet catchy to just meh dance tracks, while Usher's normally having better production.

Every dance song CB released > Usher

OMG might be an exception I guess.

I think Climax is the only good song this era but that is just me.

Usher's voice >>> Chris' voice.

The end.

It's like comparing Bobby Brown to Michael Jackson, they're just totally different artists now and Usher is on such a higher level.
I love Usher because he has so much class, his music always feels fresh.

Agreed but that doesn't mean Usher is making better songs does it.

It's like comparing Britney and Xtina.

Here I stand > His last album

I am just not bought.

Usher ranks higher than CB for me obviously but as it stands CB's has more potential than Usher's IMO ( talking about the album)

From what I've been hearing about his custody battle, I wouldn't be so sure if I was you.

Yes!

I can listen to Usher's voice anytime whereas Chris' voice can come up as annoying and bratty.

Dance doesn't equal trash!

Usher smashed Chris 3x over vocally.

Usher makes better music and focuses more on music than dancing. CB is the opposite and sounds like he's looking for hits.

He doesn't compare artistically, vocally or commercially at all! It's not apples and oranges. It is experience that gets better with age vs. a young cat that's still trying to find his musical niche. Doing everything but not yet mastering.
"Take A Bow"... Rihanna's ONLY ballad to go #1 on the Hot 100 (also topped the R&B Chart)... Great deed for her most epic ballad!!!

Most of the time that is the case. And the tone sucks often.

You guys are really comparing a bush to a tree...

So can we please move on and talk about how epic Usher's belting voice has gotten?

Because I heard the bridge to Scream on the radio yesterday and I was like...

Like Chris Brown but he has nothing on Usher. It's like comparing Kesha to Madonna or somethin like that :x
It's not place for such discussion 8-) Let's talk about Looking 4 Myself, cause It looks like this album is going to be BIG :D
