While I might have some unique things to say about some things, the perception of these images is not one of them.

Many people think that we see with our eyes, hear with our ears and taste in our mouths, smell with our nose, etc. However science has long since concluded that this is not the case. What really happens is that we recieve information from ALL the senses and this is interpreted by our mind. It's widely believed that the mind has somekind of a "model" which it bases things on. The problem is that the model can't be corrected.
The mind-model says that the lines on a piece of paper form 3D image, but in reality they don't. In fact if you draw a cube like that on a piece of paper, the mind will alter the view you see as it tries to work out if the front side is really at the back. It will flick back and forth as you watch.
The same model says that a room will be square. So when someone makes one that is not (as in the squeeze video) the people appear to get smaller or bigger as they walk in it.
Hope that clears things up

Of course these kinds of visual tricks have been used to fake UFO pictures for sometime, which is important when looking at the evidence for ET that everyone takes this into account. :)

I wonder if saying "I sort of believe in Extraterrestrial Life" automatically makes you deny the existance of God and all kinds of religion?

I sort of believe. I mean, neither their existence nor their nonexsistence is proven yet. so everything is possible. I prefer to stay skeptical.
but whether there are aliens or not, I deny all religions but I dont deny God.

I think most of the religions are about EARTH, as if that was the only planet that exists... I think that happens because back in the day no one could ever even imagine the importance of space, how small our planet is, that we'd ever fly to the moon, etc, etc.... It wasn't until the 16th century I think that we discovered how earth revolves around the sun and not viceversa.... The Bible and those ancient books are nothing but pure imagination from older men in those days... It's how I see it... but anyways... I'm talking about religion because I don't think any religion talks about any source of extraterrestial life... do they?

You don't know what you're talking about.

The Bible says the world was round (Isaiah 40:22, Job 22:14). And nowhere does the Bible say that the sun revolves around the Earth. The Bible talks about the sun rising in the east and setting in the west (Ecclesiates 1:5) but it doesn't say that the sun revolves the Earth. That was just people assuming...

There actually could be extraterrestrial life. I mean, I would not be surprised if we're all that is but I don't see why "aliens" couldn't exist.

And admitting that doesn't deny the existence of God. If anything, it kind of emboldens the existence of God.

Outside of angels, demons (FYI: the angels and demons the Bible talks about aren't the type of angels and demons that you think of) and other strange animals, the Bible says nothing about extraterrestrial live. And, in the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter.

The Bible focuses on Earth not because "it was the only planet that existed" but it centers on the Earth and its inhabitants because it's the only thing that matters for the time being.

For example...

If I'm trying to help you out by giving you directions on how to get from point A to point B in New York City, I have no business talking to you about the burgeoning civil war in Syria.

It has no relevance to the conversation.

You mean the one about your ignorance towards the Bible? It's on page 4, not 3. :P

The stars and sky have been used by religion for a long time. Heaven itself is described as "up".
As God and religion came into being, men, as they could not conceive of any other world were life could have come about, used the planets and stars as either parts of heaven or "gods" themselves. The christian religion (for example), its understanding of God is based on the Sun being God (himself = The Father), the Moon, being the holy ghost. The son being the Earth. The Holy Sprit - being the air.
While the Devil and his disciples are the Gods of other religions, such as the Greek and Roman ones.
That's why the exsistance of ET can't be found in religious texts.

However if ET is out there, they might well believe in some sort of God too. Since they too will wonder what their place is in the vast universe and what or who created it. And if ET turns up with a ailen bible, who's going to tell them the truth, if it's worse than the christian bible

The possibility of life on other planets seems to have shot up in odds by a huge amount.

The other day I was watching Horizon on TV and it was looking at how big the universe is. The conclusion is that it is goes on without end and also there are a great deal more universe's that also are without end.

Mind blowing stuff! :o

People that say "no" annoy me.

Why not? Do you know how big the universe is? Sadly we probably won't ever know because this other life is too far out of reach. :(

Not necessarily. Puranic literature talks of higher worlds in different dimensions which are situated millions of miles away and have life.

Taking his own daughter, Revati, Kakudmi went to Lord Brahma in Brahmaloka, which is transcendental to the three modes of material nature, and inquired about a husband for her. When Kakudmi arrived there, Lord Brahma was engaged in hearing musical performances by the Gandharvas and had not a moment to talk with him. Therefore Kakudmi waited, and at the end of the musical performances he offered his obeisances to Lord Brahma and thus submitted his long-standing desire.
After hearing his words, Lord Brahma, who is most powerful, laughed loudly and said to Kakudmi, “O King, all those whom you may have decided within the core of your heart to accept as your son-in-law have passed away in the course of time. Twenty-seven catur-yugas have already passed. Those upon whom you may have decided are now gone, and so are their sons, grandsons, and other descendants. You cannot even hear about their names.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 9.3.28-32)

27 catur-yugas = 27 x 4 x 4320000 = 466,560,000 human years.
