The Queen of the Commonwealth/Queen of England is coming to Nottingham for the first time in decades and I live literally 4 or 5 minutes walk from the bit she's visiting [Market Square] - not going to lie, I am WELL EFFING excited.

I don't want to start a discussion, but what's so special about seeing the Queen? She's just a normal person. She does (almost) nothing and gets a lot of money. I really don't get people who love royalty.

The woman is astonishing - she might not work in the same way as me or you, but what she's done for my country in particular is beyond comprehension as far as I'm concerned. Think of her as an extremely powerful PR person, who at the age of 86 has a schedule that puts most people to shame.

Her diamond jubilee is an amazing chance to celebrate the reign of the greatest monarch in English history, and I can't WAIT!

Exactly! People say she doesn't do anything without having anything to back up those claims. A little research and they'll find out different.
