amazing result from the uk and australia once again.

I think if a band steadily tries to develop their music style and tries to stay relevant without getting generic and just following trends, they can stay in the high league for a very long time without ever fearing a concrete flop 8-)

The sales were always promising. Longevity was ALWAYS the key, not the instant gratification that we look for in the first few weeks.

It should ALWAYS be about the long term, not the first 5 weeks and Coldplay proves that again... and with hits that are limited in exposure compared to everyone else!

5 million sold while JUST on the 3rd (or 4th, depending on territory) single released is extraordinary!
