Idk what people expect tbh. Typical stan syndrome - you wait years and expect something out of this world, when really, your fave will only inevitably disappoint you. I love this song, and can't wait for the album. I don't care if it sells, as long as I get new music I'm happy.

This is the first song by Nelly I've really struggled with, I really thought "The Night Is Young" was stronger, but it's her Foklore era I still love the most.

The EP is at #6 on Itunes, the second highest single behind DJ Fresh. The song's currently at #215 on Itunes.

She's chosen to release on a really big week. Usher, DJ Fresh, Leanne Mitchell (The Voice winner), Aiden Grimshaw and Dot Rotten are all releasing new songs this week. Kelly Clarkson and Professor Green are also releasing singles that were also available on their albums.

"Something" is very good - not too different from the material on "Loose", but it's a little heavier and I love the verse from Nas.

I really respect Nelly.

She has always stuck to her roots/'sound' and not rushed her albums.

It seems she does what she has wanted to do and not jump onto any 'bandwagons' etc. She doesn't try to be anything else other than herself.

Love her music and attitude in it. 8-)

This is great and the reason why Nelly Furtado always got respect in the business but THEN do it in a great way and most people think (reading here and reading critics) that Big Hoops isn't a great song and actually even a disappointment comparing it to the other lead singles by Nelly Furtado.

lol she basically tried the dance bandwagon with her Greatest Hits era and that didn't really worked, so I guess she could or choose to go the opposite direction (so this) or go into the full force dance bandwagon, it doesn't really suprises me she chooce this route though.

Lyrically its pretty disappointing but I really think its Fresh and a great up-tempo song without being so annoyingly familiar, Dance/Pop!
