^ Thanks! Exactly, it's still full-on R&B with a few pop tracks. He hasn't "sold out" or anything, and he doesn't need to.

"Climax" - 8 weeks at number one! Ties with "Yeah!" and "Nice & Slow" for his 2nd longest charting song! Also number 5 on top Dance/Club Songs!

"Scream" entered top 10 of Pop Songs, but still stuck at number 13 on Hot 100... :(

"Lemme See" climbs to number 12 on R&B/Hip Hop! Also re-enters Hot 100 at 94!

It bothers me when people say he sold out. I would admit it if he did, but listening to the album, he clearly didn't.

Also a lot of people tend to forget that Usher is a pop star as well and that "Yeah!" has origins of electro as well... Aka his biggest and most successful international song.

Looking For Myself (Deluxe Edition) is currently at number 18 on Itunes Album chart.

Pretty good, considering his last album didn't do that well here.

So i hope for a gold album again :). But it's a good start and it's been pretty stable inside the top 50.

hm, I expected muuuch moooooore from Usher and this album...

I don't like the result... he'll have with this album decent sales, few hits, and that's all, next year he'll probably release another album!

I only like I care for u, Twisted and Euphoria, which needs to be next single!

The rest is just :-?

I expected a lot from Looking for myself song, I thought it's gonna be the best song on album, but I'm disappointed with what I heard!

Dive sounds like No air, Looking for myself- I thought when song started that I listen Pumped up kicks...

so the best song on album is Climax! probably the best song in Usher's career too

and good luck to Usher with looking for himself, he still hasn't found himself!

2/5

my choice for singles:
- climax
- scream
- lemme see
- euphoria
- twisted
- dive
- numb

People shouldn't judge an album by the first listen... Especially review them so negatively.

I had the same problem with Talk That Talk. There was just We Found Love and Talk That Talk which i liked on that album. But after day to day, i loved more and more tunes. Now i like and love almost all tracks.

Yeah, it doesn't fit in all cases. Maybe you still won't like Looking For Myself in all as an album. But i disagree with that "He still hasn't found himself".

I think a lot of people will judge the album that way because it's not totally urban sounding... I mean I read someone said it was "promoted" as an album of him going back to his roots...?

Either way, it's not a perfect world so I respect peoples opinions... But I wish people would at least give it a shot, listen to it a few times and let it sink in before reviewing it...

Usher's "Climax" logs an eighth week at No. 1, registering 29 million audience impressions (up 11%), according to Nielsen BDS. The reign ties his second-longest, first established with "Nice & Slow" in 1998 and "Yeah!" in 2004. He led longer only with his first No. 1, "You Make Me Wanna…," which ruled for 11 weeks in 1997.

Ca$h Out's "Cashin Out" stays at the second step of the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs podium with 26 million in audience (up 4%). At No. 3, Rihanna's "Birthday Cake," featuring Chris Brown, may be getting stale; the song holds after peaking at No. 2.

===========================

It went up to 29 million! :o I can see a 9th week because album is launching next week! I can see "Lemme See" crack top 10 next week too!

@truthless

You`re right, thats why I didnt reviewed it, I just heard 4 songs so far and I like all of them.
The same happened to me toooo with TTT. First I thought it was meh but after a couple of weeks or sth. it became my favorite Riri album.

@sanim

I hope you`re right. Lemme See is such a great song. I love it. So far the best song for me better than Climax too
