Florence + The Machine's debut album was a huge seller, especially in the UK. I didn't really like Florence at first, but then I started to hear 'Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)' more and more and I started to like Florence's voice. I decided to buy the album after all and I'm very glad I did. It's a very solid debut.

Best track: 'Hurricane Drunk'

Look at that cover! Look at Gwen. The real princess of pop. I love her. I love No Doubt. This album is no exception. Simply amazing. 'Simple Kind Of Life' is very special to me. Those lyrics.. wow.

Best track: 'Simple Kind Of Life[/b]

Nice to see "21" on your chart. It's easily one of the best releases from 2011. :)

Ok, ok - I know 'Bad' is a classic album and all - and I do love it - but I don't rank it higher than #85. It's my personal countdown after all! :P

What's there to say about this album, or about Michael in general? He's the King. This album is one of his finest moments.

Best track: 'Bad'

Image

Snow Patrol has become one of my favorite bands and 'Eyes Open' is my favorite album by them. It's timeless. I love to listen to the album on a rainy Sunday afternoon and dream away to a different place lol.

Best track: 'Set Fire To The Third Bar'

Image

Such an amazing album. Gloria released it at the right time, when latin pop was still huge. It's dance, it's pop, it's fun. My absolute favorite record by Gloria.

Best track: 'Oye!'

The only albums I own out of your list so far are Caro & Snow Patrol...no guesses as to which one I love more out of the 2!

The funny thing about Caro's album is that it's an album that appeals to all age brackets methinks, due to the catchy factor - I love it as a twenty-something and my parents (both in their 50's) really like it too! So much so they're getting their own copy for Christmas instead of (occasionally, when I ask them do they want to listen to it) taking my copy all the time....

Even though it isn't completely to my taste, nor do I own any of the albums charted thus far, I'm thoroughly enjoying this countdown.

I love Toni! 'The Heat' is the first album of her that I actually bought, because i was so in love with it's leadsingle 'He Wasn't Man Enough'. It wasn't until a few years later when I discovered her previous records. 'The Heat' isn't my favorite Toni album, but I do love it to pieces!

Best track: 'The Heat'

Image

How can you NOT like John Mayer? His voice is sweet and sensual, his music is comforting and warm. 'Heavier Things' is my favorite Mayer album because it contains some of his best work, IMO. This guy deserves more succes. He is one of the best male singers of our generation, hands down.

Best track: 'Daughters'

Image

Jewel is one of those artists that I will probably always listen to. I love her soft voice. 'Pieces Of You' used to be my favorite album of hers, but recently two other records have defeated this record. This means there's more Jewel coming up!

Best track: 'Foolish Games'

Image

Michael! 'Thriller' definitely is his best record. It's just classic. Funny thing is that I'm not even that big of a fan of the song 'Thriller'. 'Billie Jean' and 'Beat It' are the best tracks of his entire career IMO. I just love them.

Best track: 'Beat It'

A mini-woo for Heavier Things. Although it's not my fave album of his (a tie between Continuum & Room For Squares), it does contain my 3 fave songs of his (Clarity, Bigger Than My Body, Daughters).

Mary's best album! 'No More Drama' has been very special to me. The songs on the album really helped me through a rough time. Especially the title song. 'Family Affair' is such a classic too! Mary just doesn't make them bangers anymore. Shame!

Best track: 'No More Drama'

Image

Debut album by my all time favorite artist. 'Christina Aguilera' is (teen)pop at it's best! Although I think it's Christina's least personal and creative album, i do still really love it. It has some real classics on it.

Best track: 'Genie In The Bottle'

Image

Tori's first entry! 'Under The Pink' is another classic album. I think Tori's a genius. This album isn't my favorite of hers, but it's such a solid record.

Best track: 'Cornflake Girl'

Both Michael Jackson albums are very nice, and Christinas too. Genie in a Bottle is unforgettable for me :)

I love Kanye. Yes - he can be a douchebag sometimes, but I think he's a musical genius. He thinks outside the box and makes music with a meaning. '808's & Heartbreaks' is a highlight in his career and definitely a trendsetting album in it's genre.

Best track: 'Heartless'

Image

Jennifer Lopez's sophmore album was the beginning of the powerhouse name that is 'J.Lo'. Jennifer really was on top of her game this era. Such a solid pop/urban album.

Best track: 'That's Not Me'

Image

My favourite Sia album. Much better than the commercial hit album 'We Are Born'. I love Sia's voice. It cuts right through my soul. Goosebumps!

Best track: 'Lentil'

Kanye keeps surprising me! After the wonderful '808s' album, he released this masterpiece. The album contains some good collaborations with Rihanna, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj. His strongest work yet!

Best track: 'Monster'

Image

Tori's third studio album contains some of my favorite singles by her. It's a very dark and gritty album, like Tori does best. Not her strongest work though.

Best track: 'Caught A Lite Sneeze

Image

'Rock Steady' is happy and uplifting No Doubt album thanks to the reggae and ska influences in some of the songs. It's definitely a feeling good kind of record. Love to play this in the Summer.

Best track: 'Making Out'

Image

I was very impressed with The Veronicas' debut album. I thought they'd be a one hit-wonder when i first heard '4 Ever', but the Aussie duo has built a name with the release of their sophomore album. Lovely female pop/rock!

Best song: '4 Ever'

Image

Toni's best work to date. 'Secrets' is a classic R&B album of the 90s. They just don't make them like this anymore. I feel Toni deserves way more credit than she gets nowadays.

Best track: 'Un-Break My Heart'

I agree with Toni's Secrets. It has this personal, sensual mood that can't be found in any other sultry siren's album! A true R&B classic and one of the greatest female albums of all time! :D :D

'The E.N.D' marks the beginning of a whole new Black Eyed Peas sound. Will.i.Am, Fergie, Apl.d.Ap and Taboo switched their urban-pop sounds for electro and dance beats. I think it's the group's best record to date.

Best track: 'I Gotta Feeling'

Image

The princess of '90s R&B came back with her best studio album in the early noughties. 'Full Moon' was released in 2002, but does still sound fresh. Ater ten years!

Best track: 'Full Moon'

Image

For a long time this used to be my favorite Jewel album. There's just something about this record. My love for another Jewel album has grown over the years, so that means there's still one Jewel entry to come.

Best track: 'Break Me'

Image

Natalie Imbruglia's classic album! 'Left Of The Middle' contains a bunch of Natalie's greatest - and best - hits. 'Torn' and 'Big Mistake' just never get old. Ever.

Best track: 'Torn'
