This is different from quietly entertaining people on tour, it's different than sporadic promo appearances on a talkshow for only a day, it's different than an award show performance. This is Britney in-the-flesh, up close and personal with no spin on a weekly basis on a national stage for months. It's a golden opportunity and if she's able to show-off and remind people of her personality, look alert, and string together a sentence, she's won. Big time. The fans already know she's back but if this is played correctly America will know she's back.
If it succeeds it would be something even Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston weren't able to accomplish. She could come out of this looking like roses.

Girl: "I want to be as big as Christina Aguilera." @LA_Reid: "Well, you know Britney Spears is bigger?" (The look on B's face, priceless.)
The fabric of the dress is awful. It looks better in a food table.Merci wrote:wtf!NoAngels wrote:I loved this new Britney dress. But would've been better if it was with a different fabric.![]()

Gaga is such a Britney stan! Love her for that!
Queen Britney is clearly unimpressed with the auditions so far. The contestants need to step their game up!nickf1 wrote:New Brits interview

Stan wars occur when delusional fans forget that the world does not revolve around their fave artist. And I guess Brit Brit may seem 'old' because she's been in the industry for forever. Miss American dream since I was seventeen...me85 wrote:She also goes, "Sing Slave 4 U" haha
Brilliant, i've never understood the Stan's wars as Gaga seems to love Britney (and vice versa) like most other popstars that grew up listening to her do. That makes Britney sound old for some reason.
17 is young but not very young. Justin Bieber, Miley, Selena started around 15 if i'm not wrongGetBack wrote:Well, Britney was already active around late 1998 so it puts her in the bracket of the stars from the 1990s, it does makes her look old but she was very young when she started.
were are now doubters? just look at her, FLAWLESS look, FLAWLESS speak, I see confidentney is back in big time.GetBack wrote:Full X-Factor Interview: Demi Lovato, LA Reid, Louis Walsh & Britney Spears

link: http://www.people.com/people/article/0, ... pheadlinesSimon Cowell is not the only one who knows how to play hard-to-please on The X Factor.
During auditions in Kansas City – where Cowell was out sick – Britney Spears proved she was taking her new job very seriously.
"She's got a really good instinct, and when she loves something, she looks like she wants to dance on the desk," a source tells PEOPLE. "When she doesn't like someone, she is incredibly tough."
Her tough side came out over the weekend, when she told one disappointed singer, "You have to be great to be on this show, so [I vote] no."

During another audition, Spears and the other judges – Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Cowell stand-in Louis Walsh – walked off the set when a contestant refused to face the panel as he sang.
But, according to the source, Spears has a soft side too, which she displayed when she heard one little girl with a big voice.
The young contestant, who sang "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from Dreamgirls, told the panel that if she won, she'd use some of the $5-million prize to take care of her family, so they would never have to be homeless again.
"Whoa! I don't even believe you're real," Spears, smiling, told the aspiring singer after a chills-inducing performance. "Was that just a track? You are amazing! Holy cow! You are a little woman, and you're going to soar."
As for Spears, since joining X Factor last month, "she's really massively grown in confidence," the source told PEOPLE. "She loves interesting and fun auditions and is prepared to stick her neck out and support someone no matter if some of the other judges disagree."
