Rock With U

This song has a very special meaning to me... I know I'm a bit exagerated... but from the start to the end, it just describes many emotiones... The sassy lyrics, the sexual connotation and the steamy breathy vocals of Janet dwell very well with the electro beats...
The video itself is also one of the best videos I've seen in the last 10 years... and clearly, Janet's best... it was simple, yet very sophisticated, the choreo is INCREDIBLE! and I remember me and my friend Edgar, dancing and playing it loud in my room and just chilling out... It's very underrated in all senses, but for me it has a deep meaning... I love it so much and that's perhaps the reason why I bought the album :) !!

there is no bad song on the album!

The One is amazingly fresh
Greatest X is beautiful

We have completely different tastes! I think 'The 1' is so dated (complete opposite of fresh) and 'Greatest X' is bland.

we played Discipline and my sister (she doesnt listen to Janet) said that The One screams "typical Janet"
well, you cant comparet The One to Together Again or Escapade ... but comparing to ther artists, it sounds cool ... sounds better then most of the songs in radios.

Does anybody know what she says on the "So Much Betta" song where the little robotic voice sings backwards?

it's just the same ("So Much Betta, I'm for you") as what it says in the normal way!

Can't believe this was released 5 years ago, time goes by so fast!

I want a new record so bad, I enjoyed all her 00s albums if they were criticized by most of the people.

I still think Damita Jo is a bit better, but all her albums are great even 20 Y.O her worst pre Control album has to be All For You.

Do not come for 'All For You'!

Y'all know I stan for that album.

And I can't believe people can say 'Discipline' is the best if the 00's!

Been a fan of Discipline (song) since the Ne-Yo Survivor. Really great track.

Now it's actually my theme, so when I'm procrastinating I sing to myself: 'I need some discipline to write' .

One of her best albums, along with JANET. Rhythm Nation and Velvet Rope, i wish Janet didn't flop.
I would love to her new music from her this year even one new song, since the RNB trend is coming back this year, i wouldn't mind Janet bringing back new jack swing elements, something like "if" or "Rhythm Nation".

My god! If the Superbowl didn't happen and this was released after All for You, "Feedback", "Rock wit U" and "Luv" could have all been Top 10 Hot 100 hits!

Feedback is such a good track, it should've performed way better on the charts!

Luv and Rock With U are also two good single choices, too bad Luv didn't get a music video... I love dat song!

Feedback was her best single since the AFY era (and also her biggest hit in the US since that era).

To me the album wasn't her best (Damita Jo was FAR stronger), however there were some obvious singles on there (along with a fair amount of filler - The One and Never Letchu Go). To me, they should have stuck Missy on So Much Betta instead of The One, and then released that as the second single. It would have been perfect. Greatest X ever was also a really good ballad, and Luv could have had amazing visuals for a video.
