I know you don't wanna hear this, theArmy, but Grace really flopped big time, which is very sad considering the album was so well acclaimed and Mandy Capristo had the potential to become really huge.

Around 20k copies should have been sold of Grace by now, hopefully she won't lose her recording contract...
Monrose lost theirs after Ladylike couldn't comply with the expectations and it actually did better than Grace (10 / 25 / 34 / 34 / 57 / 73 / 83 / 93 / - / 93 / - / 90 / 62 / 61 / 87 / -)...

the rumour that they lost their recording contract was never confirmed and several times denied by the girls

and the best proof for it is that all of them signed a record contract by the SAME label 2 months after they announced that it's over....

I'm not stanning here, I just want to stop you talking about somethin that's not true. Don't know what label in this world would drop them after all their album made the top10, 7 top10 hits, platin & gold certifications, 2 COMET awards, Echo nominations, etc. If it's so then LaFee, Sarah Connor & Queensberry shouldn't be near a music studio

Yes, it's true that debut albums actually can't flop as there is nothing to, but you've gotta confess that the label had a lot of expectations, people had huge expectations and with the Monrose background, it was like an all or nothing.

@Monrose's losing recording contract: It's written there. Ladylike should've sold 50k copies, but only 30k copies were sold, therefore their recording contract wasn't made longer.

It's obvious that the girls would deny something like this. Who would really make something like this public? It's clear that something like going solo paths would come... Same for divorces when it's said to be "unüberbrückbare Differenzen" in most cases.

Where's the sense in having a recording contract for Senna and Bahar if they never released an album? Sounding kinda weird and anyway, having a recording contract only makes sense if you have enough income to make it stay and at least from music, they didn't make much money...

Don't think labels always think comprehensible... Alexandra Burke's first album was sold 800k times (~ 5x Gold in Germany) and included 5 top ten singles, among them 3 No.-1s... And still she got dropped from her first label! So if something like that happened, it could've easily happened to Monrose whose last 2 albums didn't even reach Gold. I think it depends on the label: Some give artists a chance whose last album was sold 10k times (Queensberry), while others let multi-platinum artists drop...

And yes, a bit less stanning would be better. I'm sometimes even feared to post here, answer your questions, because you sound bitchy for some time and some kind of rough...

I took this source after a short googling, but there are some more which actually say the same. I even read it in some (gossip but still) magazine already in late 2010, so I think we can believe what once was just a rumour...
