How well do you guys think the new one will do? "Heavy Rotation" saw a radical drop in sales for Anastacia, I mean all 3 of her first 3 albums sold no less that 5 million each in Europe I think, whereas HR didn't even manage a couple of hundred thousand!

Hopefully this one can give her the success she saw before!

I think the album will do poorly.
Anastacia is 43 now, the majority of the female singers of this age don't have success they had before. It was 8 years ago when Anastacia was popular for the last time, so for the majority of the current single buyers she's almost unknown.
And generally her music always had this Adult Contemporary appeal which is not so on-demand now.

Well her last success was around 2006 with "I Belong To You" & the GH still selling. She is still quite famous in Europe I think, I agree about the current singles buyers (kids! damn them Rihanna fans! :lol:

jk) perhaps not being too familiar with her.

She still attracts audiences for her concerts across Europe, I think with a great lead single she has every chance of success again. :wink:

Her age is the only problem sadly, as teenagers etc are the big bulk of what make singles successful and generally they are ageist - it will affect her.

Regardless I'm anticipating her return, fingers crossed for her, it'd be great to have a genuinely great singer back in the charts.
