Shakira's great, as Alejandro Sanz.

Also like Spain's Macaco. Good stuff!

* I can't forget Julieta Venegas. Go and listen to "Limón y sal", "Me voy" and "Bien o mal".

Donde Están Los Ladrones by Shakira is easily the most influential pop / rock record in Latin history... don't you think? :)

Well, I can't assure something like that. I suppose there were other pop/rock records by female artists before Shakira. What about Alejandra Guzmán?

What is so wrong about accepting her impact? Alejandra Guzman? I don't recall her having an album 1/4 succesful as "Donde Estan Los Ladrones"

I LOVE Corre by Jesse & Joy. It's such a great song, so sincere and honest. The video is terrible tough, doesn't do the song justice at all! :-?

And Ricardo Arjona, I won't even waste my time commenting on that arrogant so-called "artist".

of Latin Pop i liked Mecano (by far), Nek (his spanish albums, not so much in his native italian), Laura Pausini (in spanish too but her italian albums are equally good) , Moenia (alterna-pop) and Fey (teen-dance-pop) , i can0t recall who else but i liked a lot too.
