^ LOL  low standards alert!

I don't expect her singles to do well ever, but I hope the album pull good numbers so she feels motivated and give us more videos

MUSIC VIDEO

The video was shot in Berlin. Alanis told German newspapers that it's a homage to the Wim Wenders movie "Wings of Desire" ("Der Himmel über Berlin") and that she has a special connection to Germany where she lived as a child for three years. :D

Its grown on me too.. Mainly because it sounds so 90's! But thats probably why it isn't doing too well... Underneath is still a better lead IMO.
Got a bottle of whatever but "Let's Get In This Truck" wtf

Heard this for the first time today, and I quite like it! The bridge and verses are really pretty.

Alanis seems to be far from her Jagged Little Pill/Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie marvellousness days musically but is still listenable and somehow pleasant in the background. This song sounds like an album filler though. Nothing special.

Guardian is underwhelming... It's a rather weak lead single and too safe, heard several times before in a similar way.
I don't really see a progress in her music (I know her fans won't agree with me) and I need some rebellion and spice, like she had in the good old Jagged Little Pill days...

3/10

I agree it is underwhelming, but saying you see no progress in her music makes me think you've only listened to JLP and H&BL! She's tried so many new sounds and has progressed since JLP but sadly Havoc is a big step backwards. :-?

I don't think 'Guardian' is underwhelming at all. I love it so much! It's very classic Alanis, IMO.
