no video, no more promo....i guess the song had potential, but it was released much too early without connected promo and video

The album is out in September if I'm not mistaken, I'm sure she will scrap "guardian"'s promotion and video , and will release a 2nd single in July , I'm pretty sure of that... this could end up selling like 40,000 on 1st week if lucky!!

please, i want Top 10 album in the US! i guess if she promotes on TV, she can secure good debut. 2nd single must be promoted as well with better timing and VIDEO!

I think it isn't only the problem of promotions and airplay, I think basically people aren't clicking with "Guardian".

People weren't clicking with "Underneath" either (except in Italy and Canada), and look how Flavours of Entanglement did.

It did poor to be honest... her 2nd album not to reach GOLD... so it was already her decline in sales... this one will sell even less if not promoted properly... there is no way she can pull GOLD IMO

!! But we need a 2nd single RIGHT NOW with video and better timing like Tada said!

And I agree, I didn't really connect with GUARDIAN either

!!! I wanted something better tbh!

I love Alanis, but I don't find Guardian so catchy. It reminds me of Hands Clean, that I never found so excellent like some of her oldies.
I hope I can change my mind after I see a video.
