Call Me Maybe climbs back at No. 1, making this its third non consecutive week at the top of my charts.
Congrats to that

the more partys this song is played on and the more fan-videos appear, the more I can't let go off this song.
As predicted the rest of my chart is pretty much dominated by two new album-releases this week.
Highest new-entry and overall chart-domination with three songs, goes to Maroon 5. While the new single One More Night "only" manages to enter at No. 6, the slowed down album track, Sad, marks yet another Top 3 position for the guys. I've often felt they're best on the mid-tempo and ballad stuff, and this song is no exceptation :wink:

Another artist, who enters my chart with some album-cuts, is Usher. His new album really took its time to grow on me but these two special songs didn't really have a hard time with that :wink:

the infectious Twisted and the atmospheric Dive are two stand-out tracks.

That much said, few songs had to make space and few just lost some places, while Mariah (still on heavy rotation with Angel's Cry) and Rudimental managed to stay strong in my
Top 5 for another week.

Since the month is nearly over again, we're ahead of my monthly round-up... but for now,

Actually I always did my charts on a tuesday, has just been an exceptation last wednesday :lol:

Call Me Maybe entered my chart 22nd May at No.2, chart-run so far is 2 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 1 ...pretty massive :lol:

I can't think of a chart without Beyoncé but it's so less news these days, I don't know what happens to Schoolin' Life

I hope Haribo won't mind, stealing the idea, but I thought it'll be fun to honor some massive hits after they left my chart... though one never knows, whether it returns some day :wink:

End Of Time - Beyoncé

Being represented on my very first chart back in march, and only falling out this week, this songs holds the record for the longest running song so far.
It's been the No. 1 for four consecutive weeks and was my No. 1 song of april and even managed to be my No. 4 song of may.

chart-run: 2 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 1 - 2 - 4 - 10 - 6 - 7 - 10 - 11 - 11 - 13 - out

Sony killed this song, but not in a good way.
I'm sure some people think I don't really like this song which is wrong! I was obsessed with this song in November/December —just after watching Live at Roseland: Elements of 4— but since I began doing chart in March...

I'm pleased to see Carly Rae return to the top spot as well as the debut for Maroon 5's marvelous second single, "One More Night". I hope "Schoolin' Life" manages to hang on to your Top 10 next week. Incredible chart overall.

My current No.1 also domintates the monthly round-up and comes out as my top song of june

Call Me Maybe had the potential and I'm personally happy for its success.
Loreen and Rudimental follow up and celebrate an successfull month, too.
Third month in a row, Beyoncé manages to place a song in the top 5, just ahead of Emeli Sandé.

As for my throwback-chart I choose the year of 1999 again, and round this time, TLC still ruled. I also was totally in love with My Love Is Your Love, which was my No.2 song then. Not as good as the original, but due to my endless love for that song and especilly the film and story, I charted The Last Unicorn, interpreted by Juliette, at a great third place. My all-time favorite BSB song came right ahead of the sophomore single by Britney Spears, mking this a quite enjoyable month of june in 1999 :wink:
