He's #1 on iTunes anyway, while Cheryl is at #2.
Ouch for Cheryl

I'm sad for Cheryl's staying at #2 though, she should have released the album next week!!! :(

From the Official Charts Company:

Can Justin Bieber deny Cheryl her third Number 1 album?
20/06/2012
By Dan Lane

Justin Bieber has taken an early lead in the race to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart, according to the Official Charts Company’s latest sales data.

The Canadian singer’s third studio album, Believe, is currently 3,000 copies ahead of Cheryl’s A Million Lights (Number 2). If Bieber can maintain his lead, not only will he score his first Number 1 album in the UK, he will also deny Girls Aloud singer Cheryl a hat trick of consecutive chart-topping albums (Cheryl’s 2009 debut, 3 Words and her 2010 follow-up, Messy Little Raindrops, both debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart upon their release). However, with Justin’s Beliebers and Cheryl’s Soldiers being two of the most passionate fanbases in pop, this chart battle will undoubtedly be fought tooth and nail, right up until Sunday’s final whistle.

Further down, Paloma Faith’s Fall To Grace is up two places from Number 5 to Number 3, while Amy MacDonald’s Life In A Beautiful Light slips two places to Number 4. Emeli Sande’s Our Version Of Events (5) completes this week’s Official Album Chart Update Top 5.

New Entries

With Justin Bieber’s Believe and Cheryl’s A Million Lights occupying the top two places, there are four further new entries in today’s Official Album Chart Update.

Former American Idol contestant Carrie Underwood is on course to clock up her debut Top 10 album in the UK. Her latest offering Blown Away looks set to chart at Number 10 on Sunday. Sheffield’s Reverend And The Makers' third album, the Twitter inspired @Reverend_Makers, is at Number 13, while veteran US rockers Smashing Pumpkins are at 14 with Oceania.

And finally, experimental German group Can, who Kasabian site as a major influence, are new in at Number 35 with The Lost Tapes. The album is made up of a collection of songs recorded between 1968 and 1977 which were recently discovered while dismantling Can’s old recording studio.

There's a bonus track called "Love Me Like You Do" that sounds like a Drake track, and "Hey Girl" which is a Hip-Hop song. Both are fiyahhh!

Give this a couple of spins and I can't say I'm impressed. Apart from the better tracks that are As Long As You Love Me and Beauty & The Beat, it's all very samey and generic. My World 3.0 I'd say!

I'd still rank Under The Mistletoe his best album!

Can't wait for the Lil Wayne track though. I hope it's a banger...

On a Wednesday, at a cafe, I watched it begin again.

On random note, I really can't take people on this forum seriously when they are slamming such talent as Justin Bieber and calling him untalented, crime to music, saying that he can't sing and pray that he will be gone...
and than they are praying and want so hard for Chery Cole to debut over him on number 1 in charts #wtf

As I said with all these irrelevant posts you just can't take people seriously on this forum.

Anyway, new unrealised song with Jaden Smith(Farytale) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVmnxvvxbmg

It's so great, I wanted more urban tracks like this on album.

Well, even though I'm really a Bieber supporter...

I do admit that it's painful to hear him singing live sometimes - he's pretty much in the same level with Jason Derulo technically for me.

What's his next single? 'All Around The World' or 'As Long As You Love Me'? Because I hear both on radio pretty regularly

That would be a stupid decision I think.

Idk, Rap-Up confirmed "As Long..." as the next single and it's been playlisted by Capitol as well but "...World" is listed on All Access's Cool New Music and he performed it at the Canadian Awards or something.

Though "As Long As You Love Me" >>>>>>>> anything else on the album.

Officially the UK's #1 album this week!

I know it's the 'in thing' to diss Justin but I actually REALLY like this album. I'm especially loving the 90s R&B influences!

Well deserved! I can't believe I would actually like (borderline love) a Bieber album but I've been listening to this alot the past few days.

Boyfriend, As Long As You Love Me, Right Here, Catching Feelings and Love Me Like You Do are all 5/5 tracks.
All Around The World, Take You, Die In Your Arms and Thought of You = 4/5

Deleted Fall, One Love, Be Alright and Believe as they are trash I think so all in all, 13 strong tracks for the album. Fav album of 2012 ao far
