A Million Lights is Cheryls 3rd solo album to get to No.2 in Ireland. Pity she has not had a No.1 album here yet.
I really want this to be No.1 in the UK this week.

What a astonishing debut in Netherlands!

Well, I agree. I only like few songs from the album. It's not bad, but it's also not a great album  Anyway, I prefer to see Cheryl @ #1 than JB

At the moment, it's Justin Bieber's Believe that is likely to debut at No. 1 in the UK this week...

I think we'll have to wait till tomorrow to know. On Tuesday the gap beween JB and Cheryl was about 3k copies. So let's hope for the best! Cheryl at #1

ATM iTunes Cheryl is #3 & #41; JB is #4 & #32

I think pretty close!
Forgetting him was like try to know somebody you never met

At least, we could say that we knew it from the beginning of the week, so it's not like a huge surprise  !

Maybe next week?
Believe could post a bigger second week drop, so if both are relatively close this week, A Million Lights "could" make it...
Threats are Maroon 5's and Linkin Park's new album...

The following week, I also don't see a high potential album, apart from maybe Chris Brown's Fortune...

I feel like KILLING all those Belibers (bar those who bought Cheryl album too) :x

Sorry, I went mental, but this album is fcuking amazing, and I admit I still haven't listened to Bieber's album, but I doubt it would be even 10th part as good as Cheryl's was :-?

No offense, but most critics disagree with you. Neither album is getting rave reviews and from what I've seen Bieber's tends to be higher than Cheryl's.

Even so, your opinion is your opinion, and I can understand your frustration (especially since Cheryl is UK's sweetheart and all).

More importantly to me, I want sales to be good!

^ Oh no, I really don't hate Bieber (I think there's no act that I really hate), but I had to express my dissapointment cuz of #2 and what's better than acting like psycho and Bieb hater?

Good to see him progressing and I even liked Boyfriend, but Cheryl is still better :P

I'm sorry if I acted like inappropriately :P

Haha oh no, you were clearly joking, no problems! Just had to add that I don't think most critics think either album is much better than the other ; )

I'm no Bieber fan myself, just for the record : P

I don't think the sales will be that good. She sold 9,000 on day one, so her total first week sales should be about 50,000, which is bad compared to her previous albums, especially following the high sales of her song last week.

Bieber's chart-topping debut denies Cheryl Cole the opportunity to register her third straight number one debut on the album chart. Cole's first solo album 3 Words opened at number one on sales of 125,271 in 2009. A year and a week later, follow-up Messy Little Raindrops also shot straight to number one, on sales of 105,431 copies. New album A Million Lights - credited, like introductory single Call My Name only to Cheryl - sold 34,934 copies last week. 3 Words sold 449 copies last week, and remains on track to reach a million before year's end, with a to date tally of 995,209 sales.

Justin sold 38,115 copies of his album.

Cheryl's sales were that low :o . What happened? I thought with the previous albums debuting with sales of 100k+, plus with a huge selling lead single, A Million Lights should easily debut with ~ 80k...

35k is shockingly bad - now it's clear that it won't reach No. 1 later as long as nothing unexpected happens...
